@roza-terenzi is an Australian DJ and producer whose sound folds into the fuzzy, lo-fi style of contemporary house music that’s blossomed in recent years. Originally from Perth, and now based in Melbourne, Roza Terenzi has released two strong EPs in 2017: The O.G., on Good Company Records, and Mwah, on rising Dutch label Kalahari Oyster Cult. This April, she’s due to release the Planet Euphorique EP, a collaboration with DJ Zozi, AKA Vancouver producer D. Tiffany; it’ll be the debut of D. Tiffany’s Planet Euphorique label. The EP was recorded over the past year, between Vancouver and Melbourne, and features, in their own words, “heavenly pads, intricate bleeps and breakdance-worthy drums.” For her Choice Mix, Roza Terenzi’s sound orbits Planet Euphorique.

We caught up with the talented, Supreems and requested he stepped inside our illusive yet established figment of the sonisphere, the FH mix machine. Upon his fair request for more details of the the wherabouts and safety of this excursion we then told him an hour or so mix, emailed across would suffice. The above is what we received, via digital channels, and share with you, via digital channels. Apart from the obvious gratification we get from such a succinct, tech focussed interaction, our gratification levels reached overdrive when we downloaded the accompanying file.

Over at Four Heads HQ we like mixes which accomplish a lot, we like to drift from tune to tune, we like to feel challenged by different tones and textures. Sure, we think variety is key – who doesn’t? What is life without change? Who knows. Please appreciate the breadth of selection and don’t feel embarrassed if your mind is lulled into not recognising where one genre ends and begins. Special mention to the honorary Kano appearance, we didn’t know East London grime mixes with Jazz, but then who would, apart from the man behind the mixtape control booth.

Another week gone, this time we have @facermusic stepping up to deliver some disco, house and everything in between.

Facer started out as DJ, before quickly realising he wanted to make the jump to getting out his own productions. 

Things moved quickly, and within a few months he had an EP released on @weareminder, as well as few tracks here and there on various compilations.

Facer has some vinyl releases upcoming on @namek-rcrds with the tune 'Hot 4 U' and @releasedrecords with the tune 'Acid At The Disco' as well as a slot on upcoming compilation release from @reality-club.

'Acid At The Disco' features over on the popular @doubleuninetyone Youtube channel, if you feel like streaming it.

Whilst maintaining this steady output of production he also holds down a regular DJ spot in Dundee.
