“This Cd was birthed out of a whole lot of rejection, Creative Vision and a Sense of overcoming in the Ballroom scene”. Having been influenced by Legendary Commentator’s like Kevin JZ Prodigy, Selvin Khan & Iconic Jack Mizrahi, I was encouraged to utilize my love for dance and rapping to cultivate ballroom music which emulates this current ballroom generation. Never really feel like I belonged anywhere, always felt like an outcast however looking back at 12 yrs commentating balls without a legendary status from Akron & Dayton, OH, San Francisco, CA, my hometown Detroit, MI & now Seattle, WA, I’d say I’ve come along way past the young novice commentating in rooms and making my friends feel it back in 2008.  Four albums under my belt, “The GQ Files: The Cunt Collection” (2008), “LeGz WiDe Open, Pu22y OWT!!!” (2010), B*^chez Can’t Take Vol. 1” (2016) & now “UnCommon Commentator (2019), I do this for Detroit, MI and every Under Dog who has NOT been always been received on a major scale and fought their way through adversity, girlfriend panels and conflicting politics within the Ballroom scene. Major Love & Shoutouts go to my Ballroom producers who created beats used on this project, DJ Spiider, DJ Angel X, Pillzbury of GalactickBassMusic, DJ MikeQ & DJ VJ. A special shoutout to ALL those who have supported my ballroom house music by playing my tracks not only in the clubs in Detroit, MI but Nationally & Internationally and every person who didn’t love what I do or believed in my talent this album is for you. ;) I will persist bc the girls just can’t resist!!!!-Comm Gully G.
