Hi Mike! I am about 12 min. in. As a drummer, it sounds to me like a drum track has been overlayed across these to tie them together in post-prod.   Sounds like this drum track was done manually  (tempo variances) using a set of e-drums. Am I right?

I spun for a charity event Casino Night last night.  No dance floor and no dancing expecting.  But I remembered something Jon Taffer said at Mobile Beat a few years ago.  He said (and I'm paraphrasing) "there is no such thing as background music.  There is lower volume music but no background music."  I channeled that philosophy and strived for a fun, sing alongable set and it worked.  Got tons of compliments and gave away a few cards as well.  This is a classic rock heavy set which played to the mostly baby boomer crowd.
