I rarely ever pre plan my sets, all i do is selecting a number of track i like and want to use, usually somewhere around a 100 tracks for a one or two hour set & then i randomly selects what comes into mind while playing.
The ideas and what fits together popup in my mind as i go along.
The best ideas & most exiting sets comes that way.
But i do have an broad idea of where i want to go.
I done so the past 40 years.

I like to play in a smooth seamless way in the beat for as much as possible.
But with some track you just have to chop it fast, so i try to do a mix of these ways, depending on music style.
It's all abut intensity.

About the DJ.
Mike Juhlin began as club DJ in 1984 at the iconic & legendary Discotheque Sølvknappen in Rønne.

Trough the 80’s & early 90’s he played all over Denmark as well as international professional DJ, in England, Norway, Germany, Sweden, Beligium & Holland.

During the early & mid. 90’s he was often resident DJ at Sølvknappen.

In the late 90's & 0’s he was resident DJ at Sputnik, The Red Baron as well as doing gigs at Anabells & Palæcafeen in Rønne.

Now and since 2012 he's been mainly an event DJ. Playing at various events.

Mike J, which he is also known as, is an "old school" type DJ, not producing or make music himself, but merely play the best of those who do, in his special energetic way where intensity is the main goal, building up to an intense & loaded atmosphere, giving the crowd a mesmerizing & banging musical experience.
