Born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, ChadKid is inspired by many of the amazing djs and raves in the greater midwest scene. Over the past four years they have been alongside fellow residents Sis Girl & Calin to build their own party, MESH. MESH focuses on showcasing queer, trans, and non-binary djs from across North America. Together they work hard to make sure their party is inclusive and safe for all to rave in. Chad’s djing is inspired by all aspects of rave culture and they always strive to capture some of that raw energy in their sets.

In this mix they explore further into more unconventional deep house and dub influenced sounds. Pulling mostly from late 90’s early 00’s releases, this mix has a timeless grove that pulls you in for an hour of both uplifting and hypnotic energy.

What does dancing mean to you?

When I'm not performing and I'm dancing in a club where barely anyone knows me, I feel the most free. It's a feeling that I felt every time when I first started going out to raves. That sounds really cliche but for me it's important to get back to where it all started sometimes. It's a feeling of unity and self expression that is very hard to replicate any other way.

We've been fans of Holly Lester since we were to see her play her Boiler Room debut at none other than AVA in Belfast, so much so that we had the pleasure of inviting her to play down in Brighton! Since then she has grown as an artist and has formed a fresh new label venture under the name @dualitytrax. Serving up doses of energetic and uplifting soundscapes that we've grown to admire from Holly sets. Following foot, she delivers for us an hour of warming pumpers full of groove and joy throughout, that will have you dreaming of a sun-kissed field full of soundsystems...

Bristol hard-hitting native, @gallegos_1991 is back with a 4 track solo EP for the 17th Original Series release on Banoffee Pies Records -  and boy oh boy, it ain’t too shabby! ‘A Sentiment of Love,’ (released just last week) is a nostalgic reflection and ode to UK Club Culture. 

With thumping bass lines and heavy distortion, coupled with euphoric riffs and acid lines that send you soaring, the EP feels like the steady progression of a bloody good night out. Overall it is an exemplary tribute to not only UK Club Culture, but to Gallegos’ accomplished and distinctive sound.

Let music breathe, resonate with life surroundings in concrete jungle. Taku Hirayama has been on decks since 2000. Hailing from Fukuoka, south Japan, now based in Hong Kong for over a decade. By mixing various style of music, expanding interpretation of dance music with his own taste and careful decision. Keeps updating himself with his own party "Junktion" which connects numbers of DJ’s DJs and upcoming hidden talents across the globe. Himself also travels from the industrial city to various inspirational dancefloors in the world.
When his favourite trippy groove is on control, music can be spread smoothly and extensively. It grows certain kind of positive energy towards to sunrise. Besides holding crowds on dancefloor, he keeps trying to make waves in and out with surprise. Even if he plays deep mind bending sound, or gentle hypnotic sound, or even old school gems, there is deep connection with control and release, consistent groove and constant waves in his set.


90年代後半の地元福岡でのパーティー体験を機にDJを始め、現在まで約20年に渡って活動を続けている。テクノやハウスといったエレクトロニックミュージックを軸に、エクスペリメンタルな音や多彩なリズム、過去に影響を受けて来た新旧様々な音楽を織り交ぜ、ダンスミュージックを自由に解釈。またインダストリアルシティや旅からのインスピレーションも重ねながら独自のトリッピーグルーヴの探求を続けている。2013年より自身でオーガナイズを続けるパーティー “Junktion” においても、有名無名問わず世界中の感度の高いアーティスト達と音の交差を繰り返しながら、音楽観を常にアップデートしている。香港での活動は10年を超え、シーンが成熟して来ているアジア・中国圏、そしてヨーロッパや海外各地のパーティーやフェスティバルなど多様なダンスフロアでプレイ経験を重ねる。
