Here is my Liveset from this past NYE for Tropical Fruits, recorded live from Lismore Showground, 10:30pm > 1am. The set is split into two different sounds, the first being uplifting vocal house with a tribal-edge, reflecting the theme Aqueerious Rising, the second half goes a little deeper & darker with a melodic twist.

My Set

Of all the live sets I have ever played, this is by far the one I have been asked to upload the most. A 3 hour journey of non-stop club anthems, this is one of my favourite live sets ever, so exactly one year since playing at the incredible Tropical Fruits 2019/2020, I'm finally giving in and am sharing my recovery party headline set.

After losing all my USB memory drives with the hours of new songs I planned to play only a few hours before my set, I had to play to the crowd while basing things around my ideal Mardi Gras party set list. I had no idea that a few days later I would be invited to play at Mardi Gras party, so there are clearly duplicates between the two setlists.

Even so, this serves as a perfect bookend to 2020 along with episode 81 - Retrospective, the best of 2020.

Tropical Fruits: Live, January 1st 2020

One of Sydney’s most-sought after DJs, Nate is known for his genre-blending house sets, playing Disco to deep, funky to tech & big room vocal house. 

Nate got his first start in 2017 winning the bedroom DJ comp at both the Royal Oak in Double Bay & 4thelove's Halloween competition, and has gone on to play at some of the hottest parties in Melbourne & Sydney. 

Nate’s CV includes opening for Dua Lipa at 2020 Sydney Mardi Gras, Burning Man 2017 & 2019 in Nevada, US, Main room sets for Poof Doof at Ivy, Halloween Wh0res at the Metro, Rock City Melbourne, along with Sydney staples Beresford, Daywash, IRH (Melbourne & Sydney), Thick N Juicy, FAME Fridays & Dejavu @ Universal, and of course Morning Glory @ HOME Terrace. Nate just played the midnight set at Tropical Fruits festival in Lismore at NYE 2021.
