The Lift Off Club Mix (Neo Genesis)

There is no greater reward for this lively and extremely talented mix artist, otherwise known as Neo Genesis,  than hearing the roar of the crowd, seeing the excited faces,  and feeling the bump of the bass and the energy of the music. Taking up his passion for spinning at the tender age of 9, Neo Genesis worked hard until he could purchase his own DJ equipment by the age of 18. Early 80s deejays such as Grandmaster Flash and Joe Cooley, and others, like Qbert and D-Styles, influenced Neo to have more than mixing techniques in his sets. He quickly mastered the art of scratching and today, he is able to spin on CDJs, turntables, vinyl, and digitally with Serato. His talents as a DJ were undeniable: he placed 3rd in the ACROSS THE FADER BATTLE," held annually in Glendale, CA. It was also as a graduate of Astro AVL's Mix Lab where he encountered female hardstylist, DJ Nifty Nubez, and through this friendship, he became part of the 8:40 Production's family. Despite being a lover of all kinds of EDM, Neo prefers to throw down with electro house. He hopes to soon be rocking out on stages from Hollywood to Vegas & Miami, working with top promoters like Insomniac, ID&T, and UMF Events. Neo aspires to become like one of his favorite producer/DJs, Laidback Luke, because of his versatility and skill technique on CDJs and his flavor of music.
