Something a little different than my usual style. I've been delving into the world of Afro-Caribbean rap and R&B, inspired by sounds and rhythms from the African continent, Jamaica and the UK. First played at Civillian's birthday at the Anza Club in September 2023, just took me a while to circle back and do a proper recording of it. Chill mixes by some of my favourite local artists (I'll mention them below) have often been the backdrop to some of my most cherished moments and memories I've gathered over the past year or so - happy, sad, love, heartbreak, connection, abandonment, self-discovery, shared adventures... the full spectrum.
