‚Weightless' appears with a pulling bassline forming waves to support the weight of the song. Psychedelic and powerful pushing sounds bring the feeling of a wide space filled with yellow light. Coming back to darker sounds Nick Fetcher delivers a song heavy but weightless.
Additionally a calm ambient song ‚Forgive Again' compliments the powerful sound in a wonderful fashion. The waves can be felt as well but in a lighter more subtle way. The rich sound of pads and beautiful synth melodies round it up to be a mood masterpiece.
Get caught in the waves of this beautiful release. Nick found the perfect balance between heavy and light, psychedelic and powerful.

Mother Earth Saluation

This song was loosely based off of Jonas's prayer in Jonah 2. Although there are many ways to interpret this book/story, I am continually awestruck that God would choose to save Jonas knowing that he would wander again so quickly after delivering his message to the Ninevites. God knew this, he knows everything, but still He sought Jonah out and used him to accomplish His plans. In the same way, God chose to offer this salvation to all of humanity through His death on the cross. He is seeking me out, waiting to forgive me of my sins and use me for his plans. He has seen my shame, he knows everything I have done and will do, and still He loves me and shows me mercy. Praise God, because He is worthy.

Through thick and thin, everyone needs those whom they can count on. As in life, the music can get dark and then the light shines through, as we rise to go on with the help of our friends and loved ones.

As you may notice, the cover art harkens back to a familiar cover from 1973 and that is intentional, because Andrea and Rebecca are strongly influenced by music from that time period. Many fans of 8000 Miles’ first album, Aggregate, have remarked on that influence. The title Crystal Confetti represents the clarity 8000 Miles is honing in their duo’s style and the contrast of weighted moods and flying inspirations.
