DJ NicoTean, a well known figure in the electronic music scene, stands as the Co-founder of two renowned event organizations, “Team Orange Malta” and “Deichrocker Bremen.” With an illustrious career spanning since 1996, he has been captivating audiences worldwide with his mesmerizing performances.

NicoTean's journey into electronic music began when he crossed paths with Thomas Stevens, leading to his association with the esteemed 36 Hertz Bookings. This milestone opened the doors to Europe's most prestigious venues, where he graced the decks with his exceptional talent. Some notable locations include the iconic Berghain, Bar 25, Club der Visionäre, and Kater Blau in Berlin, as well as Fusion Club in Münster and District 4 in Zürich, among others.

Throughout his career, NicoTean explored various genres, starting with Trance, House, and Minimal, gradually finding his musical haven in a captivating fusion of Deep-House, Progressive House, and Deep Techno.

In 2006, he embarked on a thrilling collaboration with the renowned online radio station, www.electrosound.tv. For over two years, he treated his global audience to the enchanting “BexxTownBeats” web show, streamed live from his hometown Bremen.

A turning point came in 2012 when NicoTean decided to relocate to Malta in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. There, he teamed up with his DJ partner, Gent Kuma, to establish the event organization, Team Orange Malta. Together, they orchestrated 10 successful “Berlin Big Beats” events at the legendary Funky Monkey Club, bringing the distinctive Berlin Underground Sound to the Maltese audience.

Subsequently, in 2015, NicoTean joined forces with “Beatboatberlin” from Berlin, known for hosting exclusive Techno Boat parties and underground club events. His remarkable talent earned him the prestigious title of resident DJ at the highly acclaimed “Bunker Rave” project, which quickly gained fame in Malta.

Over the years, DJ NicoTean has had the honor of sharing the stage with prominent local and international artists, including Oliver Schories (SOSO Records), Robert Babicz, Goldfish and the Dulz (Plantage 13, Moon Harbour, Boxer Sport), Miquele (U:CON Records), Stephan Bodzin (Herzblut), Zusammenklang (SOSO Records), among many others.

In Malta, DJ NicoTean has played an instrumental role in various successful projects, both as a host and co-host, including Summer Madness, Beatboatberlin, Electro Nuit, Monkey Room, Bunker Rave, and Berlin Big Beats.
