Clayton Steele’s love for electronic music began as a teenager in the early nineties when he started DJing at the age of seventeen. He grew up in London, Ontario, conveniently situated between Detroit and Toronto, which was ideal for molding his musical taste. He has since been known for his distinct sound and flawless sets.

The local record shop, “Doctor Disc” was flooded with underground Detroit music, which would captivate Clayton Steele for hours at a time and you could guarantee that his headphones were glued to his ears. Every weekend there was a party to choose from in Toronto or Detroit featuring artists such as Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins and Carl Craig, just to name a few.  There was also no shortage of European talent coming through as well.

Having such a rich exposure to all of this cutting edge music definitely shaped Clayton Steele’s unique style, which can be described as progressive-techno with an 80’s tinge, topped off with the occasional sultry new-wave vocal.  But, it was a move to the states in search of warmer weather, which would shift gears in the Canadian native’s head.  He found himself living in Las Vegas in the middle of the desert surrounded by mountains and decided to invest in a home studio and bring his dream of making his own music to fruition.  It certainly proved to be quite an undertaking, but there is no other way he would have it.
Then in 2008, he moved to Miami and began hosting/producing/writing Ultra Music Festival’s radio show, which airs on Sirius XM.  A couple years later he decided to turn his focus back onto his own music and he has not looked back since. His music has garnered the attention of his fellow Canadian comrades, such as No.19 and My Favorite Robot. In March 2013, his EP “Passion”/”Sleepwalker” came out on No. 19, with the remix of “Passion” by DJ T quickly becoming one of No.19’s successful tracks. Fast forward to the present and Clayton Steele is in the studio stronger than ever and really looking forward to releasing consistent music on his label FAWN Recordings.

A part of Toronto’s vibrant music community for two decades, Jamie Kidd is an accomplished instrumentalist, producer, dj, and educator with an affinity for salacious, syncopated rhythms and all things bass.

Featured in DJ Mag as an artist to watch, his music has been highlighted in mixes by selectors including John Digweed, Solomun and Adam Beyer, and charted by icons such as Richie Hawtin. Jamie has performed throughout North America and Europe and is a co-founder of the esteemed Box of Kittens collective and Sunday Afternoon Social events. As a dj, Kidd’s eclectic style has seen him share the stage with many of the best in the game including Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Maceo Plex and Sven Vath.

In recent years, Jamie’s focus has been as half of disco outfit TUSH, (“one of Toronto’s most incendiary groove machines” - Exclaim!), releasing EP’s, and the album ‘Fantast’ to international acclaim in 2021. This was followed by a remix from legendary artist Matthew Herbert, demonstrating the duo’s ever-expanding versatility and depth.

Nitin has worn many hats in dance music. Promoter, Label Owner, Record store owner, producer but first and foremost, a DJ. Beginning his career in London, Ontario, Canada, he was one of the founding fathers of the electronic music scene in the city. If you lived in the London Ontario area between the years of 1994 & 2005, you would have heard the mixes, stepped foot in the events, and listened to the music that Nitin enlightened the city with.

Nitin’s love affair with music began at an early age. His initial musical spectrum included Hip Hop, early Electro and New Wave. It wasn’t long before the radio waves of Detroit caught his ears; and he was hooked. It was clear that Techno & Tech House was the platform, and a direction was chosen. It wasn’t long before he also became (now long time) friends with another London Ontario native, John Acquaviva, who opened him up to a plethora of music and knowledge. 

In 2005 Nitin made the decision to migrate to Canada’s musical hub, Toronto, where he joined the newly launched Gem Events team, and began to hypnotize the city with an onslaught of tailored events ranging from underground warehouse & afterhours parties, all-sized nightclub events, up to 10,000 plus concerts & festivals across the Americas.

Nitin’s DJ career has spanned over 15 years having played from Coast to Coast across Canada, down to Ultra Music Festival, WMC, Miami, and The BPM Festival in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and across the oceans to the UK. Along with festivals, Nitins enjoyed the privilege of spinning at a few notable venues including BLK|Markett in Brooklyn and the Standard Rooftop in LA. 

Playing alongside many of the worlds Top DJ’s, Nitin regularly shares the decks with the likes of M.A.ND.Y, Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Audiofly, Art Department, Tale of Us, Dennis Ferrer, to name a few. Being referred to as “One of the most technically gifted DJ’s around” it’s evident that Nitin is here to stay.

Fast forward to 2014, and Nitin has built a respected name for himself. He’s a player in the recent explosion of Toronto artists on the word stage. Nitin has been hard at work in the studio focusing on his productions. 

In 2008 launched the well-respected No.19 Music with Label Partners Jonny White. Already the label has released originals and remixes from from Legends DJ Sneak, Stacey Pullen, Justin Drake, Osunlade, Maceo Plex, Art Department, Jamie Jones, Soul Clap, and many more. The No.19 brand has played a significant role in the formation of a new wave of dance music and their masters.
