After spending the first half of 2013 fulfilling his desire to release vocal anthems, Northend switches gears with his sights set on overpowering destruction of the dance floor; enter Legion.

Starting out with an introduction filled with identifiable vocal chops tailored from bliss, Legion sets the calm before the storm in fine form. Breaking with a plucked synth marked to raise all hands, the build climbs towards a drum-frenzied peak, with the inevitable drop composing between a hard style kick layered with rumbling subs, a percussive top line reminiscent of a sonar beacon, all the while flipping between robotic fills and aggressive static claps. Build two returns to the eye of the storm, where arpeggiated synths and piano lines provide a moment of euphoria before another devastating build topples into a climactic drop, including a drum flip on the outro that will have DJs letting this one ride out until the end…

The Revealed Recordings boss and boundary-pushing producer, Hardwell, releases the teaser for the long waited collaboration track with Dutch shooting duo W&W, "Jumper", due out this Monday August 5th. With the whole world watching, Hardwell has been undertaking a rapid transformation into the influential mega-star that he initially set out to be with only the power of music in his grasp. While opening his Tomorrowland liveset of last weekend with 'Jumper' and being named one of the absolute highlight sets of the 3 day festival with already over 1 million views in under two days http://youtu.be/ZG1AT6tylA4 Hardwell maintains his world-class output and demonstrates why he has been gaining so much attention. 

His fellow Dutchmen, W&W, have also been on top of their game this year with releases like the Beatport chart-topper "The Code," released on Revealed Recordings so it was a simple decision to enlist them as collaborators for "Jumper". Paired together while touring, they have created a Summer festival anthem that will be heard on main stages, at clubs, and everywhere in between. 

Hardwell, alongside W&W, unravels yet another anonymous highlight from his landmark Ultra Music Festival set back in March. As you would expect from the union of two undisputed titans of the Dutch house overhaul, "Jumper" brings three of the nation's most capable young club advocates together for a new and powerful precedent in the sound of modern dance music. A grinding electro anthem dealing in bursts of subtle melodic euphoria, "Jumper" keeps the adrenaline high from start-to-finish. The track not only emphasizes the leaps and bounds both Hardwell and W&W have taken over the years, but also the unprecedented stamina still found in Revealed's ascent of the peak time skyline. Daniel Wagner Cash aka Northend was born into music. His cousins are musicians. His uncles are musicians. His mother isn’t a musician; but she may as well be. His father, Peter Cash, rhythm guitarist, singer, and songwriter for Juno Award winning band, Skydiggers; is a musician. His Grandmother, who attempted to teach him piano, is a musician. It is in his tree.

Spending his life surrounded by bands and instruments, Northend was waiting for his turn to take the reigns. At 17, a friend introduced him to electronic music through tracks like “In My Memory” and “Adagio For Strings” by Tiesto. This introduction was the catalyst for Northend. He had discovered a way to express his love for music in a whole new spectrum; it was unfamiliar territory.

At 21, Northend moved from Toronto, Canada, to London, UK, in an effort to immerse himself in the rich culture of electronic music that the city had to offer. Spending a year in a small room equipped with a laptop and headphones, he began developing his sound of melodic builds and massive drops.

In 2012, Northend signed with Provoke and released his first 2 singles ‘Keep It Down’ and ‘Tabu’; which both saw significant chart rankings on Beatport. Along with releases, Northend began filling support slots for the likes of Chris Lake, Michael Woods, Thomas Gold, Deniz Koyu, and Robbie Rivera. October 2012 saw Northend commence on a 10 date Canadian Tour alongside Chris Lake, Michael Woods, and TJR.

In 2013, along with supporting TJR on his Canadian ‘Ode to Eh’ Tour, Northend released ‘Reverence’, a collaboration with fellow Canadian producer Stereotronique, and ‘You & Me feat. Lincoln Blache’ with Jed Harper. Having released 2 collaborations that both focused on uplifting vocal melodies, it was time for him to switch gears and focus on dance floor destruction. In July 2013, Northend released ‘Legion’, a straight-to-the‐point electro house/hardstyle hybrid. ‘Legion’ saw major support across the board from DJs, Radio, and continues to gain significant chart positions. Forthcoming releases include a single on Michael Woods’ Diffused label, Northend’s first solo full vocal production ‘Connected’, and the highly anticipated remix of Chris Ramos’ ‘Love In Your Eyes’.
