Obscurity Briefing [nov 2013]

Hello HC warriors, It has been a while so I thought lets inform you guys by posting a briefing.

After finishing my previous track ‘No Loyalty’ there was a little bit of a struggle getting my ass back in the studio. But after remembering the motivating words of Richard Drokz Koek on Dominator (thanks for that mate!) and also the little motivation words of the most Negative man of the scene I've found my way back where it belongs. }:)

Right now I am busy with a new special track. It’s special because of the cool story behind. It’s a more experimental but unique crossbreed-like track with (off course) the dark spiritual Obscurity tunes.

My previous track 'No Loyalty' has now been discovered by many respected artists. After the Dominator CD mixed by Negative A the track has reached Tha Playah who has mixed it on the Syndicate CD, released last month. He also played the track on the event Nirvana of Noise at the HMH (F*ck'n awesome). More cool CD releases will come and on top of that, the track will be (fully digital) released in a very short time. :)

Because I don't want to leave you guys empty handed I upload an old item (July 2010) but with a unbelievable recognition. When I woke up that day I received a message from Onno The Mercenary with something like: 'Dude, checkout the BBC Radio 1: Kutski show'. When I did I heard the audio recording below. Dj Obscurity - Thunderdome 2010 IntroMix

After many dark and obscure days I want to let you guys know that I will go on producing new tracks. It's difficult for me to carry on producing music without thinking about my brother (RIP) all the time but creating hard and f*cked up beats is in my blood. Besides, I know for sure that he wants me to go on. In the next few years I will try to push myself to the highest level.

The last few months I have worked hard to create a new and professional studio. I'm almost done (with the help of my two good friends, thanks guys!), so I will start producing very shortly.

Until my new tracks are released I will upload some old stuff that has never before been published. The first piece that I want to share with you is an old hardtechno track that I wrote in 2011. Yes it's hardtechno, but you can hear the Obscurity vibe in it. I was playing in my studio with that tune you hear in the break when I decided to create a track out of it.

While doing that, I had many flashbacks of the event 'Syndicate'. Me, my brother and some friends went to this awesome event with two big areas, one hardcore and one hardtechno. Somehow I never left the hardtechno area I was in. The music (especially the low-end bass) was so loud and the vibe was indescribable. That vibe/atmosphere was the source of my inspiration when I was producing this track.

The name of the track is 'Forced to Dream' and I will give it away for free.

If you hate (hard)techno, don't be disappointed. My evil insane hardcore tracks are coming. }:)
