This is a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m on fire” I have trauma associated with the original song and I STILL can’t hear it without having a panic attack but I was horribly depressed one day trying to write music for hours and failing and I was like man I just feel like I’m on fire so I covered it to try to overcome panicking every time I hear it, and I felt that shit so heavy in my soul I didn’t even practice, got it recorded on the first try which NEVER happens.

025 - No other mix CD out has made me want to wake up to it as much as this one. Think slowly rising from a dream/hangover with the best sound possible and that's about it. Both discs on Sasha & Digweed's Northern Exposure open with absolutely gorgeous tracks, Gus Gus's 'Believe' being an example of this. Furry Phreak's 'Soothe (Chicane Jazz)' dives deeper into the sound before the cd moves on to intelligent breaks, early trance and climaxes in what must be one of the most beautiful electronic tracks ever made... Hybrid's Symphony. This isn't just music you would wake up too, it's so good, you'd probably happily die to it as well. Another CD which raises the bar and takes it's own thrown on the Classic Mix CD series, and a fine choice for our quarter century episode. Turn it up... and enjoy the mix.

This is my first Bootlegs & B-Sides of 2025 and it's with a heavy heart that I dedicate it to Andrew Cerutti (Fort Knox Recordings), who tragically passed away this week.
Andy was my show's biggest Champion. He was also a musical guru and from the outpouring of grief on social media, he was clearly loved and highly respected in the culture.  I used to chat with him weekly and still can't believable that he is gone.
Rest in Peace, Brother and thanks for everything.
