"dreams sold as a lie" is the fifth collaboration between O Fresh and Shefali, a Hip-Hop and R&B duo from different sides of the country.  The song takes a reflective stance on relationships and the mistakes made throughout, mixing O Fresh's poetic rap performance alongside Shefali's soulful vocals in the hook.  "Away" was the first R&B collaboration between the duo, and "dreams sold as a lie" is the perfect follow-up to their R&B collection.
