Quicksand was a live band practice recorded with a single condenser microphone hanging in the middle of a basement in either 2008 or 2009. We only practiced the song a few times before this recording, it was the first/only attempt at the song with any vocals, and the last time we ever played it together. Mike Harville is the original creator of the song on rhythm guitar, Clint Campbell (author of the lyrics) on lead guitar/vocals, Rod Austin on percussion, and @kyfriedcaleb on the bass.
