"This mix was recorded live at legendary Club 77 in Sydney. This was the first place I ever heard dance music on a big system when I was 18. At the time, I didn't even realise I was observing some of the best DJ's Sydney had to offer, I kind of just lucked onto it when some friends Invited me to go to 'a club' and I couldn't say no. It definitely left a mark on me and is part of the reason I do what I do today.

This recording was done when I had just returned to Australia (my home country) after an amazing year of touring europe which was unfortunately cut short due to covid. Although I was feeling kind of defeated, Dane and Tim at the club were more than up for me recording some sets at the club for the project Techno Club run by The Advent and his crew. We were able to have a few close friends, some cheap drinks and it all resulted in an amazing buzz in the space. This was the first time in months anyone had stepped foot in a club (as they were all closed as a precaution despite having very little or no cases in the whole country) so it was a really special atmosphere."

London-based Australian Assembler Code (@assemblerc) burst on to the electro scene some years back, and has since then built an impressive discography through solo releases and collaborations with Jensen Interceptor, spanning across a variety of labels including his own International Chrome and Mechatronica.
