NeoRave is a monthly radio show on AAJA music. It aims to showcase artists and music on the peripheries of underground hard dance who are unafraid of breaking genre barriers or of sound experimentation. Each show brings with it a new focus within the diverse hard dance scene, with producers at the cutting edge invited to play freely around their genre bases. NeoRave looks to the reemergence of speed and intensity in underground dance, seeing the future of rave placed firmly within it.

Live recording taken from AAJA radio 21/02/2021. Joining SceM on this month's NeoRave is Oslo based DJ and producer @nattlampe. With recent releases on @speedmaster.records and @extra.energy.berlin, Nattl4mpe has been building a name for himself in underground circles across Europe as an exciting and cross-genre producer. An active DJ in the Oslo party scene, Nattl4mpe is known to play a range of dance music with special focus on hard techno and trance drives

This month's installment of NeoRave features @uniontrance mission resident and rave connoisseur @walfroy. His recent mixes for @hardest_soft and @possessiontechno have seen him explore the far reaches of hard dance, moving through rave sounds with power flow. Listen back to this live mix aired on AAJA for a new side to Walfroy's sound, one more minimal and techno-focused but always NeoRave.

For our 33rd edition to the mix series we welcome @SceM, who has served up an hour of atmospheric beats, with influences of scandi and psytrance as well as tech trance. The mix includes tracks from the likes of @schackedelic, Hyperforce and @august_tange.

Based in East London, SceM has been both apart of the DJ and event organising scene across London, including being apart of the teams at @Unit B1 and @Minimal Force, as well as a resident at @Keakie and @AAJA. This mix has certainly brought something new to the Goodie Room.

AAJA resident and Keakie host SceM (@scott-emery-1)is up next on Incognito mix series with a dark and melodic club mix. Drawing inspiration from his Latino heritage and heavy metal background, SceM fuses speed with power to recreate intense dark-room nostalgia. His Hard Dance focus has seen him move between the Trance, Industrial, Techno and Electro genres at clubs such as Egg and Corsica, crafting cosmic journeys in the process.
