Scenes from a life...
As this song began I was worried that the opening clicks and whirs were going to sedate me into a sort of glazed complacency, then something interesting transpired.A mood began to be set the haunting vocals intoned finality, percussions franticly reminded me that all was not perfect on this earth, and amidst it all it seemed as if a soundtrack from a unmade documentary..shadowy figures lurked in strange alleys..the heat beat down ..loves were lost.. control was lost. When the song ended it was like I had returned from a wonderful but slightly mysterious trip slightly older but wiser and having been introduced to snappy bass lines in the context of emotional apocalypse. Whats wrong with that?
