After an immensely successful summer of releases and parties in Ibiza and further afield, our future star, Doorly, releases the unforgettable ‘Rush’, featuring the vocals of Soraya Vivian. Included in the release are remixes by tech house talent Groovebox, London house duo Tough Love and Toolroom’s very own Pete Griffiths, as well as a rework that sees Doorly join forces with regular production partner Rory Lyons.

Already a Toolroom favourite, Doorly’s original mix of ‘Rush’ effortlessly intertwines classic house piano chords with Soraya Vivian’s yearning vocals to create this instant summer smash. First up on remix duties, Groovebox remains faithful to the original, whilst placing a heavier focus on the percussion for a tech house wonderment. Tough Love take their trademark sound to the track, resulting in a distinct and deep remix, further cementing the London duo as rising stars in the UK scene. Next up, Rory Lyons & Doorly’s remix is dark and techy, crafted with afterhours parties in mind. Finally, Pete Griffiths’ remix focuses in on the vocals, cleverly chopping them into an energetic and tough edge groove with the dance floor firmly in mind.

Already an accomplished producer, watch out for Doorly as he climbs higher and higher through the ranks of the elite with ‘Rush’.

Whilst tirelessly pushing the label forward, Pete Griffiths has enjoyed his own success with previous releases like ‘Filtered’, ‘No Soul’, and his recent remix of Doorly’s ‘Rush’, alongside touring the globe representing Toolroom. On this latest offering Pete teams up with US legend Cevin Fisher who is no stranger to success with both a tour schedule and list of chart successes that go way back when. Productions like ‘You Got Me Burning Up’ and ‘The Freaks Come Out’ were international hits tackling both the US billboard and UK national charts and inspiring a whole generation of house followers.

Back on the label after 9 years, DJ, producer and Toolroom Academy tutor Pete Griffiths drops what can only be described as a House anthem in the making, with his brand-new track ‘Get Together’. A peak time record that sees Pete Griffiths dive deep into the sound of 90’s nostalgia, dropping a seriously well-produced and classy House banger.

Of course, Griffiths has a long-standing history with the label, A&Ring some of Toolroom's most prolific records as well as playing the brand's most electric and memorable live shows as an adept, resident DJ.

‘Get Together’ itself, is an ode to the euphoric highs of the 90’s rave scene, mixing a deep, emotional swell of Piano House with a bass line that will evoke nothing but good memories of Gat Decors – ‘Passion’, and a rolling rhythm that drives the record forwards; Pete Griffiths fully embraces his roots on this one. Also featuring on the record is American R&B, Gospel vocalist Ann Nesby, formerly the lead vocalist of the Sounds of Blackness ensemble who brings her powerful vocals to the forefront, elevating this release to anthemic status.

From its HQ in Maidstone UK Toolroom sets the standard as one of the most respected dance labels in the world - at the forefront of the electronic music scene for over 20 years Pete has firmly established himself as one of Toolroom’s finest with his roles as Global Resident DJ for the label, alongside A&R, Artist Manager and Toolroom Academy Tutor.
He has toured across the globe covering every continent whilst playing many of the world’s leading clubs and festivals, from London’s iconic Ministry Of Sound, Egg & Studio 338, the world-famous Amnesia & Space in Ibiza, to the exclusive Club Womb in Tokyo.
