This is a track I made many many years ago using Reason 3.0. I was playing around with one of the rack modules in the software called Rex (now called OctoRex). I was learning how to use it, and decided to make something out of the experiment I was working with. The glitch sounds you hear throughout the track are a result of me recording it live on the same computer that I'm rendering it with, because I didn't know exactly how to use the sequencer correctly. So basically it's a live performance. I think this was made somewhere around 2004 or 2005. Until recently, I thought I had lost it when one of my external hard drives came up missing. But thanks to google, and all the archive stuff on it I found it hidden in a old email ice sent to myself with the file is uploaded as an attachment. Google drive was available, so I was using Gmail to archive tracks. Enjoy.

This track was produced by Manny, aka Dopetrackz.  He's the one who had the mic and Pro Tools so I could record the artists that wanted to rap on my beats, and he taught me a little about how to use Pro Tools, so shout out to Manny!  And shout out to MJ Finesse, another artist who has used a few of my beats too.  I only uploaded it because I thought it was a pretty good track, and wanted to share it with my friends, and the rest of the world.  I don't think it's a problem for me to have this track on my page, but if so I'm sure Manny will let me know.  But this is what we do over here.  Dopetrackz stays busy making bangers, rapping, and recording other people and mixing their tracks down,  This is just one track out of hundreds that he's produced and mixed.  Talented young man.  Anyway, hope you enjoy the track as much as I do.

This is an old FL Studio project from 2007.  Nothing special.

I already know this track is super basic.  But it was made back when I barely knew what I was doing with music, let alone FL Studio (which is what I was using at the time).  These days I prefer Reason to make beats now.  Recently I had found a bunch of FLP (FL Studio) files laying around in a forgotten folder on my external hard drive, so I opened them and was surprised to find a few tracks I thought I'd lost a few hard drives ago.  Back when I made this, I didn't know how to use the sequencer in FL Studio, and tended to record all my stuff live, muting, and unmuting tracks while recording in another program in the background.  But when I heard this, I instantly remembered what it was suppose to sound like, and quickly sequenced it (since I now know how to use the sequencer).  I changed the drums, added the reverb to the clap I added, and instead of just having the one bass note throughout the whole track, I threw in a couple of different bass notes.  Over the years I've found that even the most simplest of beats can still be used, and with great results.  So I figured I'd share this.  I hope you like it, even though it's very simple, and repetitive.  I find it a bit relaxing, and kinda fresh.

Just something I threw together real quick while refreshing my skills in FL Studio after not using it for a few years.  I'm pretty surprised how much improvement I've made with production.  I caught myself using a bunch of effects channels.  Last time I was using this software as my main DAW, I was tool lazy to do all that.  I don't stick to one specific genere, so I hope you at least like what you hear.  Enjoy.  Also, you can hear I dug up my TR727 samples, as well as a bunch of other stuff.  But all the instruments otherwise are just stock.

This is a track I consider ambient trap music. Honestly I didn't make it to be used by anyone to rap on. After being without a computer for a little more than 3 years, and finally getting one, I made it to see if the computer could handle what I needed it to do. As you can hear, it did a pretty good job.
This track features a sample from the movie called "The Clark Sisters".  It is a movie that is based on the life of the Clark Sisters gospel group. My friend always calls me Twinkie instead of Phat Mac, so when the part of the movie that says "I can get up in the morning and go to work and still get a check, messing around with Twinkie" came on he made fun of me. So I told him I was using that in my next track.
