DJ Phil Jones born Philip Eddie Leon Russel Dencker Jones March 1st. 1976 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Growing up in the early 80's under the musical influence of artists like Run D.M.C, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, and especially watching iconic Dj - Jam Master Jay, it wasn't long before Phil Jones knew Dj'ing and music was his calling. Influenced by legends like DJ Jazzy Jeff' and DJ Alladin, Phil Jones learned the art of Scratching and mixing. After Dj'ing various radio shows in the late 80's and early 90's, Phil Jones hit the club scene touring with legendary Danish reggae artist Natasha. In 1993, together with fellow members JL , Phil Jones formed the production team Copenhaniacs. going on to produce national, and international stars all the way to the present day, working with stars such as Mariah Carey, Nelly, Jojo, Bubba Sparx, Blue, Daniel Beddingfield, Natasha, Shola Ama, Medina etc.
As a club DJ, Phil Jones has since become, one of the most respected Hip Hop/R&B DJs in Scandinavia, playing clubs all over Europe and Africa/Middleeast, opening/hosting parties for the likes of Pharrell, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, J.Cole, Ryan Leslie, Anthony Hamilton, Fabolous, Maxwell, Methodman, Bobby Valentino, Million Stylez etc.
Best known for his signature fast “verse & chorus” mixing, DJ Phil Jones keep the floor bouncing with both classic tunes as well as breaking brand new joints!
