In April 2021, Auraz fka Goldfinger created the Moving Futures Music imprint manifesting a sound distinctly inspired by Florida's landscape. Blending the sound of the soothing ocean, tropical fauna and vibrant cities into an emotional, bass heavy sonic palette with a conscious vibe.

He plays a variety of genres but his main focus halftime, jungle, hip-hop & dubstep. Representing ABM (Always Be Mixing) & Clean Up Kru DJ crews. He was brought onto Recon on 2019 and Sub.mission in 2022 and he is the only dual Sub.Recon resident in Denver.

What’s good!? It’s your boy, Jose, aka iLLSiC. I was born in Managua, Nicaragua and I immigrated to the United States at a young age. I lived in Jacksonville, Florida the majority of my life and Southern hip hop had a huge influence on me. 

In high school I started making beats for the homies to rap over and throughout the years taught myself the basics on a keyboard and drums. I eventually took courses to learn music theory, recording and mixing techniques. 

I was lucky enough to intern at a few recording studios and learned basic front of the house engineering for live performances. However, most of my time was spent recording and mixing in a professional studio. After the internships, I worked freelance at a few recording studios and spent 6 years working in radio broadcasting as a producer and board operator. 

In 2020 I started DJing with a couple of friends. Later that year I bought a XDJ-RX2 and I have been DJing ever since. I started with hip hop tracks but eventually got into drum and bass. So far, every DJing gig I’ve had was promoted as a drum and bass/bass music gig, so I think I’m a drum and bass DJ now. ☺

Danky was born and raised in California surrounded by a family full of musicians. In her early years, piano, trumpet, and guitar occupied most of Danky's time before she discovered the magic of combining electronic and acoustic instruments together in the studio. Danky's initial forays into music production found her exploring the nuances of HipHop, Juke, and Future Beats; but it was only when she began to try her hand at Jungle and Drum & Bass that her passion for the craft truly began to blossom.

Now, 7 years later, Danky has carved a place for herself within the thriving underground scene of electronic dance music where she can flex her own eclectic and undeniable groovy style of DnB that takes slivers and echoes from every other genre of music that has moved her to this point. Danky’s wide ranging style of Dnb & neurofunk hits all the right notes for all the right people.

As a queer artist, Danky has been lucky enough to have supportive friends, family and fans. Although she has had tremendous support, she has seen many queer musicians and friends alike being mistreated. She continues with her efforts to support movements and events like Unorthodox to further the exposure of queer artists and lets everyone know that we are here to play DANK music and we are here to stay.

This mix was inspired through beginners mind, that childlike wonder present in not knowing, yet following instincts and guidance from within. Rather than holding tight to what I wanted or thought was "supposed to be", I went with what felt fun, felt right, felt harmonic, and paid attention to those whom I admire, adore, and aspire to inspire. 

You have the knowledge, wisdom, skills, and fortunes present to bring your dreams into reality.  Though to be in the flow, we've got to let go of our tight grasps, and submit to acceptance, guidance, humility.
