DjPierre (Pierre Harris) Musical Bio

DjPierre (Pierre Harris) entrepreneur, mix master and creative artist. Chicago born and raised with over 35 year’s expertise in the music industry; since 1984, DjPierre has grooved audience with a kaleidoscope of turntable artistry and ingenious mastery.  Each tune matching an earthy soul vibe and tone; inviting the listener on a mystical musical journey while the rhythms echo timelessly.  

His melodic passion sparked as a young teen on the Northwest side of Chicago.  DjPierre and his friends captured and connected with the profound sounds of their favorite DJs.  DjPierre’s fascination with the beats and blending craft on the turntable expanded his collective giftedness in the depth of sound and artistic flow.  His natural God given talent manifested and DjPierre’s musical flair at neighborhood parties on the Northwest side shifted him back to the South Side to futher pursue his Djing career.  His gripping melodic flow on the turntable captivated listeners at Saint Anslem, Saint Elizabeth, Saint Columbanus and Sacred Heart. DjPierre also sensationalized the musical palate of audiences at his alma mater, Dunbar Vocational High School and later as weekly guest DJ at Screaming Wheels in Gary Indiana.  

A soulful blend of symphonic discourse and a crisp melodic acoustical flow.  Whether playing ballads or deep beats, the soulful sound and intentional sway of DjPierre’s solid spins and mixes will captivate the listener with deep lyrical synchronicity; while the overlapping tones captures the listener with his musical expressiveness.
