This Friday, DJ POWERBANK drops his high-octane Subzero Groove EP on OBSCUUR, delivering a three-track ride through fast-paced, groove-heavy club weapons. With his signature fusion of breakbeat-infused techno, 2000s nostalgia, and relentless energy, the Bielefeld-based powerhouse once again proves why he’s a force behind the decks and in the studio.

The EP kicks off with "Boom Boom", a bass-heavy stomper laced with rattling percussion and electrifying synth hits, built to shake the dancefloor from the first beat. "Hardwire" (feat. BURY2K) cranks up the intensity, blending distorted basslines with an infectious groove, resulting in a high-voltage club weapon. Closing out the release, "Sweep Down" delivers a raw, rolling rhythm, layering hypnotic melodies over pounding kicks for a peak-time moment packed with tension and drive.

DJ POWERBANK brings his distinct hybrid of breakbeat, trance, and techno, drawing from early 2000s influences while keeping his sound fresh and future-facing. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, his mission remains clear: maximum energy, no compromises.
