Interfusion is one of my favorite events of the year.  There are an incredible number of kind, creative people that are present to create magic.  I am honored to be a part of the beauty that they make to help people connect to each other.

2024 Interfusion Friday Night

I started my set with Lambada and Brazilian Zouk for the "Keeping it Rio" theme for the lamba dancers at Zouk Heat.  Often times at events the lamba dancers like to have meet ups to gather and dance together and switch partners frequently.  For Zouk Heat 2024 they asked me if I could play lamba so they could all be on the dance floor and dance together.

I was asked to play a Lambada friendly set in prime time on Sunday evening during the Canada Zouk Congress.  This is one of my favorite events on the planet.  The energy in the room was amazing all night.  This was my last set for the event. I got the first song from my good friend JC Arzaga.

I had the incredible opportunity to DJ in the Zouk room at the Interfusion Festival last year and I am going to be there again this January. 
Interfusion is the biggest winter-time transformative festival on the East Coast of the US bringing together creatives and visionaries from around the US and beyond for a weekend of learning, play, connection and creativity.

The theme for this Interfusion chapter is Rebirth. I djed at this awesome event in Edmonton Canada which had Anderson and Brenda as instructors for the weekend.  This was definitely different type of event where as a dj we had to be really put ourselves into the same energy as the workshops and be aware of our own energy/tension and to connect with the dancers to create elasticity, rest, connection and everything in between.
