This remix is from a Remix Competition. All the credits for the vocals go to Asher. When I first heard about the Remix Contest I immediately fell in love with the vocals and knew I had to remix this beauty. It turned out as 115 BPM Hybrid between House/Dance and Dubstep with a slight touch of Funk. I think that’s what people call genre-bending, isn’t it?

What I personally really like about this track is the bassline in the first “drop”. It was the reason why I purchased Sakura VST from Image-Line (just to bring this fascinating bassline to life). It’s supposed to be a Fender Bass. While I’m somehow in doubt that this has anything to do with a Fender Bass, I really like it either way. The project is once again done with FL-Studio Stock plugins, so you can just download it and open it. Everything that was created outside of FL Studio was bounced and inserted as audio sample beforehand!

Tagträumer - Sinn (2Phaze Remix / Austropop meets Breakbeat)

This project initially started out as a remix for S3rl. S3rl thankfully provided the world with the vocals of "All That I Need", and I felt the urge to work on a more DnB'ish project lately. And boom, a more DnB'ish project was started. A little later in the game I figured that the chord progression is quite common and went through my Vocal library. Turns out quite a lot pop songs follow roughly the same chord progression. A little pitchy patchy here and there and pretty much all vocals integrate nicely. Well, at some point the amount of random vocals in this song took overhand so I've decided to call it a "Mashleg" (a mixture out of a bootleg and a mashup). Yeah, now it's a Smash Up (because I wanted it to sound a little bit cooler).

2Phaze - DnB Smash Up 0x01 (S3rl, Adele, Linkin Park, Jason Derulo, Ellie Goulding, Dada Life)

I hope you're having a great day so far, and I hope that this FLP makes your day even greater. Once again, I've picked up on an oldskool track - this time "Perfekte Welle" by Juli. The track was the hot shit when I was a kid. It was one of the tracks that was played 60 times on Viva and MTV, and then at least 30 further times on radio stations. People loved it, I loved. It was 2004, times were good. But then it went quiet around Juli. In February, 2023 I was reminded of this Juli and this beautiful song through "Bad Rabbitz" - a german Frenchcore and Hardcore producer - who created a very original bootleg of "Perfekte Welle". I've probably listened to it a few thousand times and enjoyed so much, that I have decided to give it a try myself. After many 2Phaze releases, I felt a little bit housy and dubstep'ish at the time, the outcome is once again a hybrid bastard mixture of House, Electro and Dubstep. If I was Porter Robinson I'd probably call it Complextro...

Crystal Mask is the new song by Ruffy Le RaRe. It’s a dancefloor 4-to-the-floor Electro/Complextro tune, with a massive bassline and a powerful distorted saw lead. Simplistic in arrangement, but rich and deep in its sound design. Slightly atypical for RLR tracks, Crystal Mask plays at 132 BPM. Also most Ruffy Le RaRe tracks feature vocals, Crystal Mask is one of the rare exceptions until now that doesn’t. Work on the song began almost 3 years ago. Now with around ~180 hrs of work invested into the project, Crystal Mask is finally released!
