DJ FREEKFUNK and Bo Bensdorp might be the youngest artists on the label so far, but they’re already released serious tracks. Born and raised in Amsterdam, the duo has been working closely together for the past year, pushing a high-energy house sound that draws inspiration from underground basement raves to festivals they’ve been attending for years. Their sound is best described as energetic hard house, with elements of trance, hardgroove, and acid. Their earlier releases have already been recognized by numerous well known names.

In den letzten Wochen bekam ich viele Nachrichten, die sich mit der "Neuauflage" von ES IST GEIL EIN ARSCHLOCH ZU SEIN am Ballermann beschäftigten.
Die meisten Absender dieser Nachrichten waren schockiert:
Ein Song, der zum Soundtrack ihrer Jugend gehörte (bzw. den sie auch im "hohen Alter" ab 20 gut fanden), wurde plötzlich auf Mallorca verheizt und musikalisch vergewaltigt: Skandal !

Punkt 1:
Niemand hat je behauptet, daß das Musikbusiness ein moralisches Geschäft sei !
Die Plattenfirmen hauen also bedenkenlos eine Freigabe für einen Song raus, wenn sie hier ohne Werbekosten nochmal abkassieren können !

Punkt 2:
Den Originalinterpreten passt dies sehr, sehr, sehr selten !

Punkt 3:
Niemand kann mich daran hindern, mich für alle, denen der Song etwas bedeutet hat, nochmal hinter's Mikrofon zu stellen und ihn Euch zurück zu geben !
(Mit besonderen Dank an Kai Panschow, der sich an seinen Flügel setzte und dies erst ermöglichte !)
