Dunk is a prolific producer with bangers on labels such as Dispatch, Encrypted Sound, Pick the Lock, C.I.A., Grid, and V Recordings.  While not producing as 1/2 of the Jam Thieves duo, Dunk has honed and mastered his own signature style that many imitate, but few can pull off.

I am thankful that I have so many top-notch tracks to choose from- there's almost too many.  So, part 2 will be coming along shortly.

In this soul-scorching journey, we dive into the world of Serbian producer extraordinaire, Soul Connection. The iconic producer is well known for his monumental releases on Soundtrax, Soul Deep, Smooth N Groove, Inform, Influenza, and many other highly respected labels.

The Possibilities LP shows off the diversity of Soul Connection’s production abilities.  His iconic Liquid productions include many classics that have stood the difficult test of time.  He flashes his production prowess on “Planet Drums” and “No Pressure”, with both tunes featuring driving drums, heavy basslines, dub influenced soundscapes, all with a deep underlying tone that connects them back to his roots.  The edgy mid-basslines in the songs are sure to please the dancefloor massive.  “Break of Dawn”, flaunts Soul Connection’s ability to combine snappy drums and rolling basslines, with his floating synths and ethereal vocals.  “Make Things Right” and “Don’t Wanna Think About It” take a more soulful approach, with its steady drums, soothing basslines, sweeping synths, and stunning vocals.

Overall, Soul Connection has created more production magic for the fans of his music.  In the process, he’s added some new sound spectrums to his arsenal.   It’s time to sit back and enjoy the master at work.  Check out the amazing sounds!!

With their captivating orange eyes and flamboyant quizzical eyebrows, eagle owls are one of the most striking birds you might encounter on the Eurasian continent. Eagle owl numbers fell drastically throughout the 20th century. Many were killed accidentally in collisions with barbed wire and electricity pylons, and seen as threats to game species (birds hunted for sport), they were often deliberately shot or poisoned. Eagle owl populations are on the up since steps have been taken to reintroduce them. Today, if you’re very lucky, you might catch sight of one in woodland areas across Europe. We need to address the damage humans have done to help eagle owls and other birds like them. That’s why we will donate all proceeds from the release to Greenpeace.

For this next release we have production outfits NordOst and Incorporate teaming up. The collabs each tell great stories and will surely be good additions to your collection of techy Drum & Bass. Artwork by Mimbelbi.
