It all started for dj redlock in 1992 when his big brother took him to the nottinghill carnival and introduced him to hardcore jungle, and ever since that day redlock has never looked back from the underground scene. learning how to dj at his local youth club, redlock learnt the bacis of djing, and appered on various stations such as conflict fm and was even offered a show on legendary kool fm. by the end of 1995 redlock was introduced to the garage scene where he held various residencies at local bars, And week in week out redlock was approached by various promoters that wanted to book him. redlock's first big break was in 2001 when he got a call from Twice as Nice promotions asking him to do a couple of sets for them as they liked his style. and from that all the major doors opened for him. he was soon playing at bagleys every saturday night covering for mike ruff cut, norris da boss, and others that couldnt make there set. also redlock joined the legendary crew, RAMPAGE as there house and garage dj for 6 months. by 2003 he had played in every major night club in london and also toured amsterdam with la cosa nostra promotions (rip) peter.

Not only is he a dj but he produces as well and had a 3 year contract with Legendary record label Nice & Ripe/FX Recordings where he released various 2step tracks which went down well in the garage scene. the first garage radio station he played on was Freek fm which was in 1997 and held down a sunday 10-12 show where he gained the respect from management and the listeners, but in 1998 redlock was offed a better slot on Upfront fm where he stayed for a couple of years, then in 2000 redlock joined DEJA VU fm and stayed until 2006.

for those who have heard a redlock set will have enjoyed his rear selection and exclusive dubplates. his sets are always fast moving with quick mixing and clean tune blending.
