It started in the mid-eighties with David Rodigan. Every show was listened to and archived by me. Then came the combination of Hip Hop and Reggae, much played by Red Alert on Kiss NYC! Around 2000 the compilation "Darker than Blue" and "Hustle" appeared on Soul Jazz. Reggae and soul became part of my program. Also Daniel Best set standards for mixing in my DJ sets with "Dub Infusion" as well as his "Best Works Selection". You can listen to a small selection of my favorites here. 95 minutes mixed live.
