Leeds born, Berlin based artist @fletchersound  is having a busy 2022. After his impressive debut album on Mosaic DTL (@stephenos1) back in 2020, he now has three releases this year on the legendary dub techno imprint, as well as forthcoming music on @rogergerressen Irenic label. No slouch in the booth either, this mix fuses his minimal, dub techno and house influences, and will satisfy the ear of both connoisseurs and casual listeners alike.

1)Who are you?

Hi, I am 22ROCKETS, part of the inventory of Berlin's SALON - ZUR WILDEN RENATE and hosting the VOYAGE VOYAGE events there together with my partner THE SWIFT. Voyage Voyage is the bi-monthly transit zone party, running for 8 years now and part of a certain music scene.

2) What have been your highlights from the last 12 months? 

Building my own studio with my good friend Rob, finally starting to work on my own music. Discovered new top notch Pizza places in Berlin. 

3) What do you have lined up for the coming year? 

We've got awesome Voyage Voyage lineups coming, plus an open-air at ELSE (Renate's sister open-air location) with IVAN SMAGGHE, MANFREDAS, FANTASTIC TWINS (live), AUTARKIC, MOSCOMAN and more... Save the date and come to Berlin on the 8th July 2018 !

Prima Lux: DoubtingThomas

For the 42nd instalment of the Mosaic Mix Series we head down under for a heady mix of deep and dubby cuts from Australian DJ, Dave Stuart. 

Describing himself as a “ DJ / Record Store owner & event promoter from Sydney” Dave has been a mainstay in the local scene for many years. He has been running in parties in Sydney for over a decade and is a co-founder of Something Else, a project that has invited the likes of Norman Nodge, Answer Code Request  and DJ Deep, amongst many others,  to play. 

In 2018 Something Else expanded and opened a record store under the same name, Something Else Records. Focused primarily on the sound that you would find at the Something Else parties , Something Else Records proudly carries exclusively electronic music across the house, techno and electro spectrum.

Rafael is a global citizen, based in Vilnius, where he runs www.instagram.com/cviparkas/ during European summer season. Cvi parkas is a cultural hub for music (dj’s & live music), plant based food & natural wines, as well as a multidimensional community affairs. He is also an established music producer, DJ, promoter, and entrepreneur under aliases RifRaf and djOI.

Rafael is a co-creator of Unity the meeting place gathering in Australia as well as Escape Human Zoo events globally. For almost a decade Raf has organised Diffusion parties in Sydney, Melbourne, and Europe.

In 2008, Rafael made his mark with the release of his debut 12" on BEEF records titled "Audio Chip," featuring remixes by Hirtenfellner (Sascha Braemer) and Shades of Gray. Since then, he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Jay Haze, Daze Maxim, Losoul, San Proper, Dreems, Alexkid, Dubtaylor, Daniel Dreier, Philip Bader, and Systrum, among others. Throughout his career, RifRaf has continued to deliver successful releases on prestigious labels like Tonkind, Upon.you and Regular records. His 12" even reached the top spot on the buzz charts of decks.de.

Having started his artistic journey with 10 years of classical violin training, Rafael has evolved into a prominent figure in the music scene, performing weekly across Europe, Asia, and Australia. His talent has graced festivals, clubs, fashion shows, underground private events, and even eateries worldwide, where he creates unique mixes for better eating experience. 
With his extensive experience and diverse musical repertoire, RifRaf is a dynamic force in the industry, constantly pushing boundaries and captivating audiences worldwide.
