During the pandemic Lisniy Prichal, Closer’s summer terrace, was working as a cafe with tables on the dancefloor and DJs were asked to play slowly and weird so as not to make people dance. This is a recording of a slow and weird Timur’s set of June 2020, still it was groovy enough to make a few visitors move.

2 very special friends, characters, musicians, visionaries came to Cvi Parkas to play a beautiful set.. Philipp is from Kiev, a LOW Party resident  is enjoying a strong bond with Aistė, Lithuanian lady not only known for her good looks, but actually for amazing vibration and one of the best music selectors in the country. Together they make a great friendship, which you can hear in this exceptional mix.

Federico Molinari @fedemolinari introduces us to a jungle of elevating sounds, an eclectic catalog of ambient, IDM and leftfield, the result of years of research, experimentation and fine taste. Springs orbiting in universes where laidback drum machines and acoustic drums, synths, filters and echoes build up a fun psychedelic landscape of electronica. From Argentina based in Berlin, Federico Molinari invites us to a very trippy, smooth ride.

RifRaf closing set at S.A.S.H. feat SuperFlu July 2014

Behold!  My set from S*A*S*H – from Sunday, 17 August – is now up and available...

Naturally, I was absolutely stoked to have been asked to play at arguably Sydney's biggest weekly event, which boasted a star-studded local line-up and included the bookings of Alex Flatner, Sean Patrick and Nox.

What's more, the S*A*S*H boys were been kind enough to give me a very generous three-hour set, opening the second room from 6 PM.

This was a varied set, featuring some deep numbers up front, with a rather "sunset" housey stanza in the middle, and closing off with some bigger grooves – all around 116-117 BPM, just the way I like it!

I had a wonderful time playing this set, and could have comfortably stretched on another three hours!

Big shouts to the S*A*S*H boys, Cris, Matt and Kerry for having me on.

DARNA - the annual event created by Cvi Parkas & the Jewish Community of Lithuania in support of the International Day for Tolerance observed on the 16th of November. UNESCO's 1995 Declaration of Principles on Tolerance: "Tolerance is respect, acceptance and appreciation of the rich diversity of our world's cultures, our forms of expression and ways of being human.” https://www.unesco.org/en/days/tolerance

The name of our event - DARNA - is inspired by the Hindu word Dharma - "cosmic law and order”. Through ‘DARNA’ we are sending waves of peace & harmony to the world.

Rafael is an established DJ, promoter, performer and music producer, under aliases of RifRaf, djOI and recently Kurtu - a new live audio visual experimental improvisation duet.

Based in Vilnius again, where he runs Cvi parkas - a plant based food & natural wine bar which is also a hub for multidimensional community affairs, interdisciplinary art, live music and DJs during European summers. Raf was born in Vilnius, where he also learned to play professionally violin and piano. 
Since 2000, he relocated to Australia, where he created not only a home to himself, but also many weekly and monthly events, small and large scale festivals and ran many tours with a wide range of artists. He was one of the founders of Sydney Earthdance Festival, Diffusion, Deep As Fu*k and Pirates of the Underground events. 

Raf is a music digger and educator, holding residencies for over 15 years now at Berlin’s Golden Gate, Melbourne’s Killing Time, and a regular guest at Sash, Breakfast Club and many other globally recognised music institutions including Club der Visionaere.

RifRaf produced many releases solo and collaborations with variety of artists including Jay Haze, San Proper, Daze Maxim, Alexkid to name a few..

 In 2016 Raf’s affiliation with the Multi Culti family saw a collaboration with Dreems, featuring a Lum remix, that resulted in a superslow dance-floor monster which is available on all platforms.

He remains committed to producing music while organising events as well as hosting ‘Escape Human Zoo with RifRaf & special guests’ - a monthly show on Radio Vilnius.
