The Josh EP is a look at duality in the personas all artists take on, CLYDES given name "Josh" is referenced in the title, and sets up a sort of Jekyll and Hyde narrative where the author is both himself and his artistic monicker embattled in one expressive mind. "I chose that title because it shows the conflict I have between different musical styles, and only really just now have I started to realize that (THE CLYDE PROJECT) is all about growth and what makes me happy, people might know CLYDE as one specific sound, but for me it is 100% about trying to progress and evolve, whatever form it may take." 

The EP also featured a notable collaboration "Wut" with East Coast based Risik, who has been on a tear recently playing local support for G Jones' Innefiable Truth tour, Bleep Bloops Fifth Pupil tour, and the REZZ Something Wrong Here tour, as well as releasing her first original single "Boring" at the end of last year.  CLYDE and Risik connected over their aspirations to release music on Dome of Doom, and a mutual fondness for all things heavy.

"With 'WUT' it started as a loop and a basic set of sounds, I sent that and the stems to Risik and she just added so much more depth and timing, Risik is super super talented at producing aside from killing it as a DJ.  I owe a lot to her and the knowledge that I gained from just working on this one track with her" -CLYDE

Earlier this year, we connected through twitter and he sent me a few tunes he was working on - I really clicked with WUT.
