When I got into EDM in 2018, "Don't Say" by Hoang was one of my top played songs FOR SURE, and I've been keeping up with all of Hoang's releases ever since! Fast forwarding to 2019, I met Sabai at EDCLV randomly and we chatted abit! After listening to both Hoang, Sabai & Claire's "Million Days", I was instantly captivated by the track during the first listen-through! These artists use (what I consider) to be a pretty unique sound in the melodic bass / future bass landscape, so I became pretty obsessed with their tracks!

A lot of my friends and I are going to their show in LA, so I thought that it would be PERFECT to make a mix that can showcase their tracks! Its a relatively simple mix -- with not too many edits & mashups! I also sprinkled abit of dubstep, psytrance and DnB in the mix, since SABAI & Hoang historically played them in their live sets!

Chosen Ones Vol. 9: Don’t Wanna Say Bye (Melodic Bass, House, & Trance Mix)

Chapter 10 marks my 20th mix ever since starting this music project, and of course I had to go back to my roots: melodic bass/ melodic dubstep. For this mix, I wanted to make it special and try incorporating a little bit of each chapter into one. So please excuse the length of this mix, there were so many songs I wanted to use since taking a break off these genres for 2 mixes. I chose to play heavy dubstep early on, because a lot of my headbanger friends were coming xD So I wanted to please them... but then the set will mellow out afterwards with melodic bass + house / bass house :) I hope you guys like it!!
