About three years ago I made a mix from the old records I had at home from the 90s to early 00s. I was happy to essentially archive the best of my collection and a lot of others seemed to like it as well. It got me thinking though about the music at the time that I loved but never actually owned as some tracks were pretty hard to get on vinyl back then and it turns out the digital age has made this a lot easier. 52 tracks in total turned into a running time of about 5 hours so I've split it into two halves. If you wish to join the two then go ahead, I made sure they will fit together again quite easily. Either way I hope you enjoy this collection of music from a time that still means a lot to me today and if I've managed to capture a pinch of the love and the energy from that time here then my work is done. Oi Tim Samsara Where's Me Banana? Pt2

It's said that 'those people who 'can' (make music) do, and those that 'can't' (make music) start music businesses'.  Chrystie Klein falls into the latter category, she's not a musician, so she started 'Indie Sound', a music business to help emerging independent musicians of all genres develop their music careers. When Indie Sound launched earlier this year (2025), it was as an Artist Management business, but it has recently added a merch production and sales operation, and the Indie Sound record label is planned to be operating in November this year.

Arriving in Shanghai and quickly drawn to the cities vibrant underground scene Roo soon found himself working alongside many of Shanghais best artists at some of the cities top venues. Known for being able to turn his hand to almost any style he also promotes regular bass music nights and house and techno nights that have found regular homes at Dada, Logo, Lune and The Shelter while being asked to play regularly at venues like Lola, M18, Arkham, MYST Amber and many many more in Shanghai and across China as well as performing at Shanghais MIDI festivals for the last 3 years.

In 2014 he joined Intransik Beats. A record label and group of DJs and producers based internationally performing, producing and promoting techno around the world. Managing their regular Shanghai night known as Bassment and representing the label. His Deck-FX bass party has also found a new home at the legendary underground music venue The Shelter and more recently he has teamed up with Shanghais top Hip Hop crew, Come Correct.
