I made it with my good friend Ed funk for his B-boy crew's training sessions (s/o Floor Crusaders!). There's probably been less than 5 copies in existence UNTIL NOW!  
Warning- this is proper original filthy funk breaks created specifically for b-boys.

Second in my series of oldschool breaks mixes and this one is a mixture of live mixes and edits. An hour chock full of classic and underground old school breaks and beats with the emphasis on the foundations of hip hop - the original breaks that underpin the golden eras of hip hop from its inception in the bronx in 73 through the 80`s and beyond.
This special mix features a 15 minute bed of breaks myself and my partner in edits Andy from the Saxon Scoundrels put together for Donald D when I dj`d for him in Gloucester in 2005.

Hi peeps, here's my 80's Breaks mix that the guys at House Music Collective kindly asked me to do. This is my selection of early Breaks, Uptempo Hip Hop, Electro and Hip House. There's a fine line between a lot of these genre's & this is my interpretation of what I call early Breaks influences. Some of the edits are more recent than the originals, but I used them as the quality was much better and they were quite true to the original recordings. I hope you enjoy this mix as much as I did making it, it really took me back to my B-boy faze before I got into Electro, then House.

Love affair with all things funky since 1982, still going strong, got my 1200s in 1988 and never looked back. Rocking a mixture of digital and original wax now on 1210`s and  my rane one. Musically my horizons have broadened from my bedrock of electro / disco and hip hop and house through soul - funk, techno, cheesy 80`s pop nu disco, If I like It I play it and mix it - simple as that.

My weekly mixes showcase my favourite tunes of this and yester years. All ad hoc which is the way I prefer to mix and are a mixture of original vinyl and digital.
