When we got the call from the Robot Heart team asking if we were going to attend the Free Burn, and would we be able to DJ their 1st sunrise since 2019, we knew something special was about to take place.  

Both of us had performed solo sets on the bus many times in the past, but this was to be our 1st time playing as a duo. This special sunrise set is a dedication to the life of Robot Heart founder, Geo. 

We did our best to capture his inspiration, celebrate his contribution, and shine a light on his legacy.

We had several discussions back and forth with RH members that knew Geo well, and with that knowledge, we prepared special songs and spoken word moments to honor his memory.

Apart from that we did not plan out any of the set, and allowed the moment and energy to guide our selections and musical choices. 

We’d like to thank the entire RH Family for their trust and support over the years. And we’d especially like to thank all the true Burners who were in attendance, for adhering so well to Larry’s 10 principles, respecting the Playa, and reminding us all why we make this trek out to the barren, yet magical landscape, every year. Together we danced to celebrate life, and in particular, to celebrate the life of Geo, as he watched from above.  

We hope this recording brings a smile to the faces of all the lovely Burners who were in attendance, and also to all those Burners, including Geo (who were there in spirit) dancing in the dust, with sunshine and freedom, radiating all around us.

What started as a chilly overcast Sunday afternoon in San Francisco this summer, blossomed into a full sunny dance floor, filled with good vibes and smiles. This is one of those extended sets where we really just flowed, went up, down, left, right, center, and back around again musically. “Greetings friends. Im very happy to recieve the amazing Robot Heart family’s choice to release my set from the burn last year. After a wild and wonderful week for dust & mud, This impromptu evening on the bus was stitched together quite suddenly by our dear Robots, who assembled all the loons left behind from the fleeing masses on Monday night. This may have been one of the best nights in terms of vibe i’ve felt on the playa in a long time. For the true warriors stayed for the next few days to extend our journey without a single complaint of rain or mud to be whispered at any point throughout the evening. To those who were in attendance… i salute you. To the responsible ones who were on the move… dont worry, we saved you your seats. To the global family who skipped this year with an unexpected smile… guess again 😉. And to my favorite wizards, witches, and warriors of the Robot Heart… you make the magic true and dependable year after year, rain or shine, virgins or veterans, hardships and happiness. I lovr you & I thank you. And for all you musical maniacs, i hope you enjoy this brief glimpse into the freedom in sound selection we were given on this fun and unexpected eve. On July 6th, 2024 I had the pleasure of playing a 5 hour open to close dj set in New York City, while cruising around the island of Manhattan on a Full Circle / Zero Boat Party. 
The sunset was perfect and the vibes were high, so I channeled my NY roots through my set, and brought in a ton of classics that really represent for me the energetic city I got my start in. Hope you enjoy the ride...

I always found it challenging to record a studio podcast: my analytical mind is trying to calculate every move, evaluate each transition & criticize the selection. I have time, music & equipment at my disposal, but one key element is missing to really tell a story: humans.

I encountered that problem last weekend. Although I was playing music I enjoy, I felt that my technically structured mix was too stiff and impersonal.

Then, some of my favourite humans turned up at the studio. As Ashley, Apolline, Axel & Robin entered the room, the studio was suddenly filled with a great energy & I felt like pressing the rec button again, just for fun - this is when the first minutes of  S y m b i o s e  were captured.

I feel this studio mix is an authentic representation of the energy levels I like to navigate through during a longer set. It features some of my favourite tracks in a nod to the past but also has a touch of the future; new sounds that are moving me forward & some of my new compositions.

I’m happy to share this mix as I’m taking off for Argentina, what marks my first adventure of the decade. This music session brought me clarity, presence & joy! I hope you'll resonate with it.

I just returned from the magical Bonjuk Bay. This place is something else. The nature, the people, the love. So much beauty. It felt like returning to the essence of life. 

There were many magical moments but this sunset set is something I will never forget. Standing in-between the palm trees, looking at all these beautiful people dancing, celebrating the last moments of sunshine before we fade into the night.

My heart is filled with gratitude.
