Comrade Winston could not have wished for better soil to grow as a DJ. The scene in his hometown of Nijmegen, located in the eastern part of the Netherlands, has given him ample opportunities to hone his skills. Now based in Amsterdam, his sound has caught the ear of many music enthusiasts, dancers and promotors.  

Fast mixing techniques and a taste for old school records with real groove and funk have achieved mayhem on many dance floors and have given him a strong reputation within the techno community. These abilities at the decks have earned him a position as a steady player at the infamous Reaktor parties as well as a residency at Operator Radio.

With no signs of slowing down, Comrade is ready to take the past into the future.

Artista techno colombiano de la ciudad de Pereira ha estado haciendo ruido en la escena electrónica con su sonido único y adictivo. Una carrera que abarca más de 5años, Black Substance ha desarrollado un estilo que fusiona ritmos contundentes con melodías hipnóticas, creando un sonido que es a la vez oscuro y emocionante.
Comenzó su carrera en la música electrónica en 2020, influenciado por Alexander kowaski. Desde entonces, ha lanzado sets únicos en su plataforma de SoundCloud, gran gestor cultural de la escena tecnho en Pereira ha compartido escenario con otros artistas en lugares públicos de la escena cafetera.
Además de su carrera en solitario, Julian es fundador y miembro del colectivo Matechno, un grupo de artistas y productores que buscan innovar y llevar el technoa nuevos horizontes.
Su enfoque en la música es la libertad de expresión, creando un sonido que refleje su personalidad y emociones. Su objetivo es llevar su música a muchos países, compartiendo su arte con una audiencia global.
Black Substance sigue innovando y experimentando, siempre buscando nuevas formas de expresar su visión artística. Su música es una invitación a un viaje a través de la oscuridad y la luz, donde la emoción y la energía se unen para crear una experiencia única.

At the intersection of techno's industrial past and its avant-garde future stands Phase Fatale, the Berlin-based project of Hayden Payne. A resident at both Berghain and KHIDI, Payne channels his roots in New York's post-punk and EBM scenes into a sound that's precisely engineered for the deepest corners of the dancefloor. 

Since emerging in 2014, Phase Fatale has been pivotal in reshaping the contours of modern techno. His releases on labels like Ostgut Ton, Jealous God, and Hospital Productions showcase a commitment to sonic exploration, blending dense atmospheres with rhythmic precision. His 2020 album, Scanning Backwards, was specifically engineered for Berghain's acoustics, reflecting his deep connection to the club's sonic environment.

Beyond his productions, Payne co-founded the BITE label in 2018, aiming to platform artists operating outside conventional techno paradigms. With a roster that includes both emerging talents and established names, BITE has become a beacon for those seeking the fringes of electronic music
