Stalwart Tokyo based master producer and DJ Masanori Morita & Noboru Abe, aka STUDIO APARTMENT readies the next release on ever building imprint N.E.O.N. Here he offers up the original track from the spellbinding 2020~ album, entitled 'Anunnaki', featuring frequent collaborator and vocalist MAUMA. Enlisting two fantastic remixes from Tokyo based duo Kandarta.Following with fellow Tokyoites Kandarta's mesmerising remix, which embodies a true sense of entrancement from the onset. 
Oscillating bass-tones meet incisions of rhythmic juxtaposition from the shimmering ride cymbals and quivering 16th note hi-hats. 
While a dreamlike synth lead dominates the centre stage, a mass of pulsing counter-harmonies presents a relationship of pure enrapture. 
The duo's archetypal sonics hit the mark with this futuristic take on STUDIO APARTMENT and MAUMA's earthy, wholesome original, presenting new tones and unparalleled states of body-highs throughout.

Tomasz Guiddo pays homage to the rich legacy of musical symbiosis and interconnection between rap, jazz, and house with his latest single 'Live It Up'.

A sizzling collaboration with magnetic MC, philosopher and educator John Robinson (aka "Lil Sci" of legendary east coast hip-hop trio Scienz of Life), the song was heavily inspired by the post-bop jazz era and the golden age of late 80s/early 90s conscious rap, hip-house and acid jazz infused with contemporary nu-jazz aesthetics.

Cleverly combining the classic stylings of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter and Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers with the Bohemian hip-hop chic of Digable Planets' groundbreaking debut 'Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space)', the lyrical jazz-rap fusion of Guru's landmark 'Jazzmatazz, Vol. 1' album and the heady jazz-house sophistication of St. Germain, the duo creates an energizing party jam effortlessly fueled by Robinson's uplifting motivational lyrics, commanding Nas-esque raspy vocals and smooth melodic flow and Guiddo's slinky deep-grooving soundtrack incorporating live and electronic instrumentation.

The 4-track set is rounded out by two mind-blowing reworks by Serbian producer/composer Noternight (aka Aleksandar Milicevic) and eclectic Polish producer/remixer purrppl (aka Filip Macioszek) that brilliantly recast the beatific original into a blistering pair of genre-blurring leftfield future classics.

The sun in the sky begins to set.  The stars above, along with the moon shine down on the soft powdered snow beneath your feet.  The festivals fireworks are about to start.  You and your friends rush to the main circle for the show.  Glimmering in the sky as 2023 comes to a close and the new year begins are the fireworks shimmering against the night sky.  You and your friends shared memories at this festival.  You ate, danced, laughed and sung all through the festival.  The sights, the sounds and the company all came to this moment.   As sad as it is, 2023 is closing and so is the Frosted Festival.   The music lifts the mood and makes way for 2024.

Thank you for being part of my journey into DJing and providing music for your enjoyment.  Here is to us and the community for great things ahead!

The title track from prolific producer James Curd’s debut album ‘Taking All This Time’ is a marker of the quality of the 14-track collection, and one of the new tracks set amongst some of his finest moments to date.
A looping jazz-funk b-line and key sample cut pumps round and round as splashy hi-hats and tense synth whirrs build the mood, before the sweet male vocal refrain is unleashed over a pleasingly mellow melodic progression. The vocal by Shyam P reveals itself more, laying on a honeyed R&B / soul feel to the proceedings before we’re dropped back into that relentless disco groove. Snatches of biting electric pianos intersperse the rhythm, and drawn out sax samples provides a moment of juxtaposition in the break. The overall feel is that of a melancholy summer jam that bridges the gap between multiple genres, concisely reflecting Curd’s tastes in the process.
Alan Dixon (Running Back) ditches the soulful feel for an acid/electro/Italo fusion on his bold remix, setting bubbling acid lines against early '90s piano chords that joyously take centre stage midway through the track.

DJ beyond cliche' and lover of fine French baguette, " here is my story so far.
A Techno kid at heart, an early days raver and enthusiastic clubber, I embraced the House Nation since its very beginning.
A strong passion for music and a fascination for the art of DJ'ing naturally guided me to the decks when I moved from France to England in 1994 .
First gigs in London and Southern Spain from 1995 onwards. 
Then In 2002, I made a long distance move to Thailand.
Resident DJ at the iconic Bedsupperclub in Bangkok for 10 years, I also became a regular feature throughout the country and all over Asia. 
Described by many as being a "key player
in shaping up the Bangkok underground music scene", I also widened my musical range and gained considerable experience as Lounge DJ and music manager - Sofitel Bangkok - in many hype places.  
in 2014, I moved to Phnom Penh to set-up the Cambodia DJ Academy, an ideal ground to transmit my passion and share my knowledge.  
During  those 6 years, I  also worked as resident at Oskar Bistro and Pontoon Pulse.  
Following a short spell and a few gigs in Berlin, I am back in my homeland with the desire to continue to express myself through music.   

Over the years, I have opened up for the following artists touring Asia.

I am a dedicated crate-digger and an explorer by nature. Lighting up dance-floors and grooving out bars, my DJ'ing style goes way beyond cliches. A unique touch characterized by finesse and sophistication, combined with panache and originality. 

Put simply, I play House, Techno and downtempo, for the body and the soul.

I particularly enjoy building long sets from a blank page.
To me, each set is unpredictable musical journey and I like to take people by surprise, but with subtlety .
