Live at the WORK Warehouse: Ønyx (Apr. 18th, 2025)

With over 50 release credits under his belt, Justin Schumacher has cultivated his art since coming up in the 90s NYC battle rap and rave scenes. From humble beginnings working at NYC's prestigious Satellite Records, to playing the Sunday School stage at Electric Zoo, to releasing on Carlo Lio and Pig & Dans labels; Rawthentic/On Edge Society and Elevate, respectively, as well as countless other original and remix work for household labels across the underground spectrum.  The Brooklynite has carved a lane for himself in the global techno community with hard hitting, floor focused, crafty techno cuts.

A DJ first and foremost, his passion and sharp knack for selecting cutting edge grooves and cerebral thumping soundscapes has been recognized and showcased across the continental US in addition to the concrete sprawl where he resides. Justin's ability to read crowds and respond with detailed and nuanced sonic architecture is a true testament to his appreciation for techno, house, and club/rave culture.

Recorded at the legendary Hare & Hounds, Birmingham, this is my full set from a night with British Murder Boys, hosted by RUST and Leftfoot.

This mix moves from deep, hypnotic techno into raw EBM and Birmingham’s unmistakable industrial edge, with a personal nod to my roots through Estados Alterados, and a little homage to Ozzy Osbourne with the Static-X track. From a young age, metal and the grit of industrial sounds shaped my musical identity, and Birmingham has always felt like a beating heart of that connection.

It was a privilege to share the night with Surgeon and Regis, whose work has deeply influenced my sound and whose legacy is woven into the very fabric of this city’s techno scene. I also carry in this set the influence and memory of Juan Mendez, aka Silent Servant, an artist of Latin American heritage whose work bridged continents and whose spirit continues to inspire both the global techno community and my own path as a Latin American–British artist.

A milestone moment in my DJ career, blending influences, with the weight, energy, and spirit of the city that gave the world heavy metal, forged the Birmingham techno sound, and shaped my love for the harder, darker edges of music.

Steph Mag est l'un des rares artistes du monde de la musique électronique à avoir consacré ces 30 dernières années à la performance et à la production de techno à l'échelle mondiale. Ayant joué sur tous les continents pour un large éventail d'organisations, de clubs et de communautés, il a toujours affirmé sa vision musicale unique.

Aujourd'hui, son univers artistique se déploie dans deux directions distinctes : l'une, plus lente, avec une techno profonde, hypnotique et immersive ; l'autre, un style Hardgroove plus intense et percutant, percutant, puissant et sans compromis.

Steph Mag a toujours défendu une techno solide et profonde, ancrée dans un spectre musical riche et nuancé. Ses sets sont des voyages sonores entre ombre et lumière, loin des sentiers battus. Enfant des années 80, il a été façonné par les sons des pionniers de la synth-pop comme Depeche Mode et des icônes de la musique électronique expérimentale comme Kraftwerk, insufflant à ses performances une touche de nostalgie, des textures vocales et une profondeur mélodique.

Batteur de formation passionné par le rythme, Steph Mag privilégie une approche techno percussive et groove, taillée pour le dancefloor. Connu pour ses sets Hardgroove puissants et imprévisibles, il se distingue par ses improvisations live, son mixage dynamique et sa technique signature.

Avec de nombreuses résidences de DJ en France et à l'étranger, il a partagé la scène avec des figures légendaires de la scène électronique telles que Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Gene Farris, Bob Sinclar, Manu le Malin, Liza 'N' Eliaz, Scan X, et bien d'autres.

Au-delà des clubs et des festivals, Steph Mag s'est également imposé dans des environnements plus raffinés et décontractés, se produisant au coucher du soleil et dans des sets lounge dans des salles prestigieuses en Asie, notamment à Bali, Ko Samui et Bangkok, où il adapte habilement son son à des ambiances plus contemplatives, toujours avec finesse et intégrité musicale.

STL-native, Sari Postol is earning a reputation for delivering hard-hitting, no-nonsense DJ sets spanning a variety of genres. Acid and Industrial Techno, Electro, and Hardcore are just a few of the tools in the arsenal Sari deploys to devastating effect.

Since her first set in 2016, Sari has become a familiar name on local lineups and in cities across the midwest due to her hard work and dedication to honing her skills on the decks, on both digital and vinyl platforms.While maintaining an active tour schedule,
Sari has featured on several prominent podcasts and radio shows, leading to the launch of her own show entitled, ‘The Casimir Effect’, for London-based Fnoob Techno Radio in August 2018 and was brought on as programme manager for Fnoob in January of 2021. 

2022 brings the introduction of Amen Alice - Postol’s Drum and Bass alter-ego, her sound: acid-infused rollers & hard hitting amen-breaks x venetian snares.
