Rhythm Play Podcast - SARI - Underground Web Radio - 18 July 2017

This mix was recorded after I returned home from attending and playing my first Drop Bass Network event, Even Furthur 2017. I was so mindblown, inspired, and motivated to get back to working on honing my craft and exploring new sounds I would have never found had it not been for EF2017. Thank you to Kurt Eckes, and the whole DBN crew for working hard to create a fantastic festival experience, and thank you Udopia Recordings/Ekvilibrium Recordings/The Invasion for the fantastic opportunity of playing a set on your Diyss Children of the Corn Stage. Furthur was a game-changer for me as both a music lover and a performer, and I will cherish that experience forever.

STL-native, Sari Postol is earning a reputation for delivering hard-hitting, no-nonsense DJ sets spanning a variety of genres. Acid and Industrial Techno, Electro, and Hardcore are just a few of the tools in the arsenal Sari deploys to devastating effect.

Since her first set in 2016, Sari has become a familiar name on local lineups and in cities across the midwest due to her hard work and dedication to honing her skills on the decks, on both digital and vinyl platforms.While maintaining an active tour schedule,
Sari has featured on several prominent podcasts and radio shows, leading to the launch of her own show entitled, ‘The Casimir Effect’, for London-based Fnoob Techno Radio in August 2018 and was brought on as programme manager for Fnoob in January of 2021. 

2022 brings the introduction of Amen Alice - Postol’s Drum and Bass alter-ego, her sound: acid-infused rollers & hard hitting amen-breaks x venetian snares.
