Used a couple instruments I found from a couple years ago and the fpc for the drums.

Multiple layers on this track. The sample I found on a 1966 jazz record, I used the FPC for some of the drums and layered the rest on different patterns.  Photo compliments of Ted Petermann.

I used a heavy 808 pack for the drums and then layered heavy organs and synth on top.  Still working on the kick but here the ruff draft.

I also had the pleasure of meeting quest love, Masta ace, and Diamond in person at the 2010 Miltown beat down. Jordan (88.9) marketed the event so well we were able to meet and listen to the wisdom of real hip hop artists, that hadn't just made music, they helped create the golden era.
