In 2002 We recorded 11 tracks and planned to release Carla's Debut album Nine2Five but due to a MAJOR hardware crash I lost 80% of it 

THANKFULLY I managed to find the Lead track from the set and pleased to finally offer you what is still to date one of my favorite productions and one of my favorite singers.

Those that know we grew up together and spent most of out early years as part of the Leicester collective Zero One in the early 90's and then went our separate ways but crossed again while we were both in London in 2002 and spent a few months doing the album.

For those who miss the days of Street Soul and are looking for something a lil grown & Sexy then this is right up your street! 

As were in the throws of the UK summertime I couldn't think of a better way to show some love to the sun gods than offer this as a FREE download for you to enjoy, listen download and play loud.

Over the next few weeks i'll post the other 2 I have as going on some 7 years they stood the test of time and are worthy of now seeing the light of day.

Longtime friend of mine and a guy who iv'e seen write to one of my tracks before i could even finish it

We did A project called Bootlegs Ballads & Bangers and This choon today has even more meaning today 

Been Digging up some of my unreleased projects and came across this today and it bought a tear to my eye especially with the birth of my daughters

It was a demo version and was never really meant to be the version your hearing now but we went back in the lab the next day and couldn't capture the magic, It was one of those magical moments and to date one of the best productions I think we did together.

So for all the REAL men holding it down, making ends meet, caring for there family or even new dads!

Soulful Session Presents: Mr. Alexander Daddy's Gonna Be A Star

Back in the day just playing records wasn't enuff and had to be able to fend off a soundboy if it came down to it! the only way to do so was by cutting Dubplates! 

and boy did i have a DUBPLATE! 

It was a Saturday afternoon and my door bell rang! It was the General, I remember he pretty much dragged me out my yard and said come a we ago studio, want a IP OP mix a me choon lol!

So I picked up a handful of my hot tracks and off we went! we recorded the remix version and as a thank you he said he wanted to record a version just for me so after an hour of adding some of my favorite breaks to it he jumped in the booth (well curlys Kitchen) and laid this down in 1 take! 

The original (Curly) and remix (Me) were KANED on pirate radio up and down the country and sold pretty well as we did a run of white labels back in 92 but it was THIS version that killed it! and being we were behind it and having a hot choon outta road just made this version a monster! 

I don't know how many dance I mashed up with this from Leicester to Leeds and one time i'll never forget when I took 2 coach load of leicester crew over to Marcus Garvey Center for the Legendary Return DJ Clash with my man One Step Ahead! (Wow! we were like 2pac & Biggie but before them both lol)

I received news a few weeks ago that the general had passed 

So as a tribute to a the MC, The friend, The Father and the Entertainer I just wanted to share this with you!

I wrote and produced this back in 2006 and there was only one person who I could get to sing it and that was my Homie Carla Thomas!

Inspired after one of my sets and wanted to record a track to say THANK YOU to the DJ's and paint a picture of the Weekender from my perspective both playing and being a punter.

I totally forgotten about this track as shortly after I did it I moved from London to Dubai and Never go a chance to play it again and just found it now while going thru my classic 10 years of southport folder so shows how long ago this was done.

Resurrected from the dusty drive in my cupboard I'd like to officially dedicate this FIRSTLY to the DJ's in the funkbase and to the amazing crowd who make this event so special traveling down THIS weekend!

I can't wait to see u..

Session is also a successful but fledgling production outfit having secured at top 40 hit on the traxsource 100 download worldwide chart and a buzz track of 2012’s A buzz track at Miami Winter Music conference 2012 Featuring JJ with Secret Passion and 2013 see's Schooly’s first full EP release on Tony Records along with forth coming releases on Proceed, A Deeper Groove and Funky Street.
