Toronto-born Carlo Lio has long been a force throughout the underground, earning a reputation for his versality but most of all, his hypnotic, techy beats. As a DJ, producer, and co-label boss of Rawthentic Music alongside Nathan Barato, he has released on influential imprints like Tronic, Suara, and KD Raw, with his music championed by the likes of Dubfire, Marco Carola, Carl Cox, and Loco Dice. His ability to translate raw emotion into sound has made him a big fixture on dancefloor's everywhere. 

His new collab with M.I.T.A perfectly sets the tone the relaunch of Carl Cox's label, Intec - which has always been a champion of high-energy, tribal, and groove-driven techno, as well as its more melodic side. Now after almost 5 years, the label returns with a renewed focus: uncovering standout records from fresh talent while bringing back some familiar names from its storied past. The duo's lead track 'Chasing Ghosts' is a relentless peak-time weapon, while ‘AFREAKA’ and ‘The Artist's Struggle’ push deeper into funky, hard-groove territory - setting a high bar for the return of one of the most legendary labels in techno.

Based in Hartford,Connecticut between Boston and New York, there is no shortage of resources, and inspiration from fellow DJ’s and producers.

Always on the hunt for the next new tune that brings all the feels, along with an arsenal of curated tracks from over the years, Mike’s mission is to spread the same emotions that each and every one of these tracks represent, and to connect everyone on the dance floor forming a singularity for that beautiful moment in time. 

In addition to playing other peoples music, for other people, Mike also spends his time working for, and helping throw various events in New England, Brooklyn, and San Francisco.

This will be Mike Incillo’s second time playing White Rabbit, but he’s no stranger to Ottawa or the crew. He’s been connected to the scene since 2005, having played multiple Sundaze afterhours at the legendary Mavericks — now known as Gridwrks.

The we hear the latest from CARLO LIO who joins Mike this Saturday at WHITE RABBIT.  Unequivocally leading the pack of talented Toronto producers, Carlo has utilized his trademark hypnotic house and techno sound to cement his status among today’s world-renowned electronic music artists.

Carlo developed his unique style of fast-paced deep tech-house music in the dark and unforgiving world of the Toronto underground club scene, and his hard work and dedication paid off in 2008, when Dubfire’s SCI+TEC imprint signed their first track with him, welcoming Carlo into the label family with open arms and usherinng in a period that has seen over a dozen successful releases. Over time, these tracks caught the eyes and ears of some of the biggest labels in the electronic music scene, allowing for further releases on Bedrock Records, MOOD, Desolat, Suara, Intec Digital, Mindshake, Inmotion and No.19 to name just a few.

One particular highlight occurred in 2011,when Dubfire and Oliver Hunteman commissioned him to remix the track “Diablo” for the renowned Cocoon Recordings, marking an impressive milestone in his career.

2015 was a standout year for Carlo in terms of releases, with a remix of Sian’s ‘’Diamond Shore’’ on Octopus Recordings, along with a huge remix of one of Basement Jaxx’s Beloved tracks ‘’House Scene’’ on their official Junto Remixed album. Late 2015 saw his most recent release on SCI+TEC with the pounding ‘’Type-O’’ EP, followed up with a much anticipated return to Suara with his ‘’Technicolour Boogie’’ EP which had remixes from Nicole Moudaber and Chus & Ceballos. On top of this, Carlo provided Adam Beyer’s Drumcode Radio with an exclusive one hour live from Stereo in Montreal.

2016 continued in the musical success of the year prior, with standout releases on KalukiMusik with “iLL Shit”, Davide Squillace’s This & That label with “All Things MustChange”, and a special collaboration entitled “Feeding the Rhythm” with Nathan Barato on Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records.
