Brazilian Drum and Bass is constantly evolving, gaining strength and notoriety every day with the emergence of hundreds of new music producers and DJs across the country. With unique rhythms and vibrant creativity, Brazil stands out on the world drum and bass scene, and to celebrate this rise, DNBB Records is pleased to present the new compilation "Next Brazil".

The compilation "Next Brazil" consists of three exciting volumes that bring together new talents of Brazilian Drum and Bass, together with more consolidated artists, but still not widely recognized in the musical mainstream. Scheduled for release in August, September and October, the album aims to show the world the diversity and potential of Drum and Bass produced on Brazilian soil.

"Next Brazil" is a vivid portrait of Brazilian cultural diversity, featuring artists from all regions of the country. Each track is a unique sonic journey, with different musical influences, bold timbres and catchy rhythms that show the richness of the Drum and Bass scene in Brazil. The "Next Brazil" initiative was born with the aim of revealing and supporting new talents that are emerging in the Brazilian Drum and Bass scene. With the ever-changing music landscape, the compilation provides a unique opportunity for these artists to shine and connect with a wider audience. Alongside renowned names in national Drum and Bass, these young talents have the chance to be recognized and acclaimed by the Brazilian and international public.

With the release of "Next Brazil", DNBB Records reaffirms its commitment to the Drum and Bass scene in Brazil and its contribution to the continued growth of the genre. MANIAC & TROUBLE + MC JUNIOR RED - SPRING 2015 MIX

SDB – Drum & Bass from the Heart of the Rhein-Neckar Delta

With a heartbeat running at 174 BPM, SDB brings high-octane, no-compromise Drum & Bass straight from near Heidelberg. What started as pure fascination with the fast, broken rhythms and heavy basslines quickly turned into a passion behind the decks.

Inspired by legends like Sub Zero, Aphrodite, Original Sin, Majistrate, Heist, and many more, he didn’t just want to listen — he had to be part of it. In 2014, together with a group of like-minded newcomers, he co-founded the Bretter Wars Crew, hosting outdoor raves and pushing the regional scene forward with raw energy and grassroots spirit.

His debut gig took place that same year at the iconic MS Connexion Club Mannheim, and since then, SDB has become known for his fast-paced, high-energy selections. He’s lit up dancefloors in well-known venues across the region, including Halle 02 (Heidelberg), 7er Club (Mannheim), Culteum (Karlsruhe), and Live Factory (Adelsheim).

As a driving force behind regular events at Infinity Club Sandhausen, he provided a platform for up-and-coming artists while bringing in DJs and MCs from across the Rhein-Neckar area and beyond.

Over the years, SDB has shared the stage with international heavyweights like Modified Motion, Macky Gee, Jayline, Levela, Shrust, Steampunk, and DJ Danger. Even during lockdowns, his mission stayed the same — to get the sound out there. He continued livestreaming on Facebook and uploading new sets to SoundCloud.
