In the seventh episode of our mix series, we feature a dynamic mix from Sham, a Copenhagen-based artist with Syrian origins. Known for her impeccable focus and presence behind the decks, she consistently provides suggestive, ever-flowing grooves beneath hypnotizing atmospheres. Sham is an active figure in the Copenhagen scene, and recently launched her own club night series, with the inaugural event held at Den Anden Side.

It’s a rare treat to share this recording from two of my favorite powerhouse selectors, Rotterdam’s Nelly and Oslo’s Marius Bø, who linked behind the decks at Nantes’ renowned Macadam last December for a night curated by club resident Bambi. The result, as expected, soars. Witness a three-hour cyclone of blistering, mind-shattering divinations capturing these two in their finest element, an uplifting of the psyche leaving no layer unturned. Thanks Nelly & Marius!

Tom_Ato has been selecting and mixing music since 2018. He began his journey playing for smaller crowds at local raves in his hometown, gradually building a presence in the underground scene. His deepening passion for music led him to start collecting vinyl, further solidifying his connection to underground culture and shaping his distinctive sound.
Today, he’s an active figure in Budapest’s underground venues, both as a DJ and a producer. His sets are known for their fast-paced, progressive energy, blending groovy trance with the occasional twist of broken beats to keep the dancefloor engaged and moving.

Okouru is a Paris-born, Berlin-based music selector known for his versatile sound, which spans across a wide spectrum of electronic music — from ‘90s and ‘00s trance, progressive trance, and techno. In 2022, he made his debut at Fabric London, invited by Nicola Cruz. The following year, he debuted at Berghain/Saüle, and more recently played at Macadam in Nantes, France. After spending nearly a decade in Copenhagen, where he built strong connections with the local scene, Okouru moved to Berlin to explore new horizons.

“This mix takes you on a journey through the most psychedelic tracks in my collection, featuring late ’90s Trance and Progressive Psy-Trance, along with a few all-time classics.”

Under the title CIRCLES, NOIRAH presents his first collection of dance music, focusing on timeless Hard Groovy Techno. This EP is an exercise in meticulous production, where every beat, every layer of texture, and every bass bounce has been carefully and precisely crafted. Without relying on grand melodic leads, NOIRAH creates moments of high rhythmic intensity, demonstrating that the true "soul" of electronic music lies in the constant groove and the quality of the sound design.
