DJ Shahmaran is a Dutch and Kurdish resident as well as programmer at KLAUW Collective (@klauwcollective) based in Rotterdam. Using electronic music as a way to explore his queer, diaspora, rooted - as well as simultaneously uprooted - identity, his sets are eclectic, span a wide variety of genres and moods including fast and abrupt transitions, a lot of energy build-up and breaks with a nostalgic vocals here and there.
