What is house music in 2024? 

As I was organizing my music this week, I realized how difficult it’s become to attribute certain songs to a single genre. With the rise of countless subgenres of house music and the growing popularity of electronic music, house has become more ambiguous than ever. 

So why not embrace that and put together a mix that embodies what modern house feels like to me - rhythm, deep basslines, eclectic chords, emotive vocals, and more.

The mix got a tad sloppy at the end, but that's just the essence of the 30in30 series—no prep, one take, and pure house music.

In this third episode of #PasQRadioShow, I present the first version of a dual project, the "Midnight Mix". Designed to be deeper and more atmospheric, this mix captures the introspective and tranquil essence of the night. In contrast, the 7AM Mix follows a similar harmonic structure but conveys a more energetic and expansive atmosphere, reflecting the awakening of the morning.

This mix is built on organic textures, deep grooves, and the unmistakable Afro energy that has become a defining characteristic. The Midnight Mix begins in 1A (A-flat minor), symbolizing the stillness of the night, and gradually ascends through keys like 2A, 3A, and so on, reaching 7A (D minor). This tonal progression represents a shift from depth and introspection to openness and liberation, mirroring the early morning hours when energy begins to rise. Following the Camelot Wheel of Keys, each number and letter corresponds to a specific musical key, allowing seamless harmonic transitions that shape the journey.

The music selection blends the freshest sounds of 2025 with timeless gems, creating a unique atmosphere that evolves with every transition. With a carefully curated selection ranging from the psychedelic sounds of Crosstown Rebels #DamianLazarus, the hypnotic melodies of Human by Default #Bedouin, the ethereal tones of All Day I Dream #LeeBurridge, the organic depth of Sol Selectas #Sabo, and the dreamlike atmospheres of #AcidPauli, this journey flows between introspection and expansion, always guided by an immersive rhythmic pulse.

Cami Ricci es una DJ y productora argentina destacada en la escena electrónica nacional.
Su curiosidad por la música desde temprana edad la llevó a identificarse hoy con sonidos que van desde el Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, Indie Dance hasta el Techno.

Con su habilidad para crear ambientes musicales de calidad, posee una destreza notable en la capacidad de generar una atmósfera adecuada y agradable en cualquier tipo de evento.

Su talento radica en la capacidad de seleccionar la música, mezclarla profesionalmente y ajustar el tono y el ritmo para adaptarse a las necesidades y preferencias del público objetivo.

Durante estos últimos años, logró alcanzar uno de sus objetivos al presentarse en varias localidades y provincias del país como Mendoza, San Juan, Entre Ríos, Córdoba, Buenos Aires, La Plata, Santa Fe; así como Uruguay y Chile.

Desde 2016, Cami ha estado activa en la escena electrónica, presentándose en diversos eventos y clubes reconocidos del país tales como Crobar , 2GTHR, The Bow y más . Entre sus actuaciones destacadas se encuentra su participación en Metropolitano con grandes artistas internacionales  y su presentación en MetroClub junto a la DJ ucraniana Miss Monique. 

Durante estos eventos compartió escenario con reconocidos artistas nacionales como Mariano Mellino, Brigado Crew, Kevin Di Serna, Ezequiel Arias, Simon Vuarambon, Facundo Mohrr, Antrim, Paula Os, Lolu Menayed, así como con artistas internacionales como MATHAME, Agents Of Time, Stephan Bodzin, Korolova, Innellea, Eelke Kleijn, Miss Monique, Fideles, Kamilo Sanclemente, Guy Mantzur, Sahar Z, Blancah, Budakid, entre otros nombres destacados.


Además de su carrera como DJ, Cami Ricci se ha enfocado en la producción musical. En Noviembre de 2023, lanzó el álbum “Futuristic Electronic Frequencies” en colaboración con Paulo Carignano, una obra que refleja su evolución artística y dedicación a la música electrónica, el cual se encuentra disponible en todas las plataformas.

From the hotbed of talent that has risen out of the Middle East, Shai T’s star burns brightly in the dance music firmament. At the cutting edge of the underground scene with a unique sonic palette and an ability to harness the full gamut of genres, from deep, tech and progressive house, to forays into techno and electronica, Shai’s music paints a vivid picture of refined natural talent.

Operating out of his Tel Aviv home, Shai began his musical voyage at a young age, as A multi-instrumentalist and accomplished performer, music had always been an overriding passion for the Israeli star and a guiding force on his career trajectory, almost “like the universe pushed me there…”. Consequently, Shai quickly found himself performing across the local scene as a headline DJ for the city’s leading nightclubs.

As his talent became widely recognised, DJ performances have extended far beyond Israeli borders as Shai became a renowned international artist performing at a host of world-famous venues. Thus, global performances across the continents have seen Shai T’s talents behind the decks sparkle in a career that continues to gather pace on a steep upwards trajectory, supported by an ever-growing legion of fans.

In tandem, a production career has witnessed a growing evolution of the Shai T sound that has seen him a first choice for booking agents and leading record labels alike. With a decade’s worth of commercial releases under his belt, 2018 became a catalyst for a rise to greater prominence with an appearance on the number 1 best-selling “Summer Sol” series via the aptly titled “Believe”. Shining the spotlight firmly on Shai, the track was a notable highlight for the highly influential and successful Sol Selectas imprint. 

Since then, appearances on All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Lost Miracle and TRYBESof have all catapulted Shai T to the attention of the underground music fraternity with an immaculate blend of intricate rhythms, flowing melodic lines and organic sounds. Top 10 Beatport hits have followed with the deep house vibes of Shai T’s “Our Time” on All Day I Dream and the 2020 melodic house gem, “Where the Heart is” for Lost Miracle.

Sitting proudly in the top 10 Beatport Organic House artist rankings in the latter half of 2020 – Shai T’s foray into the newly emerging genre has seen him create a tidal wave of success. Indeed, “Illusions” for the blue-chip, Do Not Sit On The Furniture has dominated the Beatport Organic House charts sitting at number one for the entire month of September 2020. 
Similarly, the “Miracles” EP on the ever-reliable TRYBESof continued Shai’s supremacy at the end of November with another number 1 Organic House hit for the title track.  Companion track, “Storyteller”, completed a clean sweep for the EP as it sat alongside at number 2.

Starting 2021 amazingly, Shai hit the charts with a 3rd & 4th number One in a row, with his remix for "Hoffnung" and his original Ep "Superstition".   Later on during 2021,  another Number One on the charts, Fifth in a row, with Shai's 2nd Ep for Sebastien Leger's Label - "The Last Dance" on "Lost Miracle". 

With his first release on 2022, Shai joined the "Lost & Found" family owned by Guy J, with a remix for Sahar Z - Back in my arms.  The remix Held tight at the number 1 position on Beatport Top 100, for 3 weeks, as the 6th number one for Shai in a row.  Later on, During August 2023, Shai returned to "All day I Dream" with his "Summer O'clock" hit, which also reached to the 1st position on Beatport Top 100 - for the 7th time, While3 months later, during November 2023, His Collab Ep with Kasper Koman "Islander / Good People" on Lost Miracle has reached the #1 position on beatport charts for the 8th time within 3 years. 

Continuing to lead from the front in an unprecedented and challenging time for the music industry, Shai T’s undoubted talent finds him establishing a host of new and exciting projects over the coming months. Passion, talent and technique place Shai as a continued and growing force in the world of underground dance music as he weaves a magical sonic tapestry of powerful storytelling and aural splendour.
