Over the last ten years, Gumm graduated from being an active promoter hosting renegade parties in obscure public spaces to performing at Melbourne's biggest festivals, including Let Them Eat Cake, Pitch Music & Arts and smalltown. As co-founder of Melbourne brand Darklove, he hosted international acts The Drifter and Damon Jee to go with regular bookings supporting Maceo Plex, DJ Koze, Jennifer Cardini, Stephan Bodzin, Job Jobse, Ben Klock, ANNA, Folamour, Mind Against and more.

Not only is he regular in Melbourne clubs (Revolver Upstairs, Bourke Street Courtyard and Glamorama to name a few), but recent performances at Melbourne's leading festivals earmarked him as an act for the bigger stage. At the end of 2020, he tasted his first interstate booking when he was flown to Byron Bay to headline a 2021 NYE event.

His recent debut single "Struck", released on Berlin-based Ombra International, the in-vogue label run by indie-dance maestro Curses, served as a crucial entry point into the global scene. The single is a highly infectious dance cut designed to suck you into its dark disco inferno, catching the attention of the underground scene's leading players. With his recent sold-out headline show selling over 500 tickets, Gumm is well situated to be at the Melbourne forefront of a new, compelling global sound with roots in genres like nu-wave, indie-dance and nu-disco.

We had spoken about writing some music together so it was a perfect chance to have a play. Sass' love for the original was contagious and I soon became attached myself. The process was incredibly enjoyable and the result is now one of my favourite projects."

Yet again, I remixed this using the original multi-tracks. I kept it at the original 117 bpm. Sliced and diced everything which is now quantized to a grid yet maintaining the original live band feel.
I bounced this down NOT slamming it loud nor over compressed to maintain as much of the original dynamics as possible.
There's a lot going on in this mix with all these original live musicians.

A LOT of work, but i loved every minute! I love this song so much.

So I've had this set on my computer for a few months and decided to upload it.  It was recorded live from one of my pride sets this year.


To me pride is about accepting and loving every individual part of yourself.  So I decided to do a bunch of songs that really have a positive message about how to love and accept oneself.  I really wanted to send a positive message with this set and not just do top 40 or banger beats.

I got into DJing because I felt that the music had incredibly important things to teach me and I wanted to pass the knowledge on.  So I hope you get something out of these tracks.

Sizequeen // I AM READY (Nick Harvey Remix)

Hey fans, friends, lovers and Kool Katz

I have a new mix for u all.  Well actually it's an old mix that I thought I would upload.   This mix was recorded live from the east Village nyc on 7-7-23

This one starts off with some pure disco funk before I take you on a journey through the genres.  I touch upon motown inspired house, jazzy house and funk before getting a bit more electronic with a space progressive track.  I then continue the journey with some disco/tech fusion tracks and some pure disco before heading into a few bangers and close it out with some soul.

I really liked this mix because I successfully was able to jump around different genres, energies and beats.  Sometimes I hear a dj set where they seem to drop into the same beat in every song.   Bad circuit djs to this sometimes and it's frustrating.  But that certainly isn't my problem as you can see with this mix.
